See another person dame helped, once again he said dame was great at giving advice and open to help others he believed in.. around the 9:40 mark he said it best people might dislike a few things he said and cause of that discredit him or dislike him.. it goes back to that boss segment with dj envy that shit had a bunch of nigs butt hurt cause of that segment
We been debated this and even Dame said he didn't realize how much power and influence he had and he wouldn't have said it like that during the interview.
Because he was really targeting Envy and Lenard.
He fumbled the message. With great power comes great responsibility.

He didn’t fumble the message envy knew what he meant, it was that many of the listeners didn’t comprehend it.. like I said b4 various times ja rule said it best on drink champs his first interview with them that the reason why him and various artist that knew nore didn’t want to go on his show was cause that’s their boy, and when boys are talking you blurt out stuff or have conversations that most people would never hear cause you not part of their friend circle so they gonna say shit the way they talk amongst each other... like I said dash and envy convo was a friend convo that naturally they would speak amongst each other so it wasn’t going to be politically correct but the dialect they speak they know what they meant, unfortunately this was on radio with cameras on and the general public couldn’t comprehend it or didn’t understand it from their point of view…. As I said b4 these were 2 successful individuals and one was basically telling the other 1 stop allowing others to benefits off your platform more than you do, you’ve established yourself enough to break away from them and start your own thing and generate all the money instead of getting crumbs from it. Basically what many 9-5ers do.. if a person could make thousands of dollars a day selling burgers out a truck would you tell that person forget making that money and instead make thousands of dollars selling burgers for McDonald’s while only making minimum wage? The answer is no.. dame was telling envy stop working for McDonald’s and start selling burgers out a truck and get that money you deserve.. people was butt hurt cause they didn’t understand what he meant and till this day are quick to kick him while he’s down just cause of that convo
But he did fumble.
First DAME SAID IT HIMSELF.
Second if the message gets lost the person SENDING IT has to take responsibility.

Bro we both have spoken to a LOT of people one on one and in groups. I've given instruction I've taught led seminar been on tv.
Dame f**ked up. HOWEVER it was his reputation delivery and audience that created the perfect storm of misunderstanding.
And like I said previously even with all that? It was a strong message that still had a powerful impact. If Dame could have just not been 100% Dame that day? If Envy and Lenard could have RECEIVED it better? *because yes they were hurt but Dame was hurting them on some Harlem tough love so to be fair to them he again didn't have to kill them like that.
