These were my joints here.
I hated "I'm That Type of Nigga". Sadly, it's my most popular song.![]()
Mr. Mixx did the track, and nobody wanted to do anything with it. So, I listened for about a minute or so, and grabbed a pen and pad. 45 minutes later, we had a song. It wasn't even meant for me, but the person (I don't remember who) was intimidated by the track. You have to remember, artists on Luke's labels were party rappers, and before Poison Clan, Trick, etc. I was the only real lyricist he had, and this track spoke to me, so I took it.

What? you crazy. That was my shit![]()
Questions: This about writing...so you heard the beat and just wrote. What do think about rappers today who claim to NEVER write anything down?
Or rappers who can rite an entire song in like 5-10 minutes?
Did you edit while you were rhyming?
How many takes did you need to lock it down?
Did you consciously think about changing your flow or delivery while writing?
you always something to say about my music and then you post this crap(sigh), and I was hoping not to drink yet. Thanks for leading me to the scotch!
