Just binged the last season and this one... my thoughts possible SPOILERS for those not caught up yet...
ELLIOT - I wonder who came up with the destroy evil corp plan...elliot or his father? The plan came out of elliots mouth but who was the personality in control when he said it? He had the mask on so we could assume that it was his father but elliot himself shows flashes of revolutionary spirit without his father around.
Elliot without his fathers influence is essentially a well-meaning weirdo. He uses his skills to help people in small but meaningful ways...
Busting a pedophile
forcing some asshole his shrink is dating to breakup with her for her own good
getting his drug connect/girlfriend's abusive supplier arrested
being so good at his first job they fired him for it
On his own elliot would be content to keep doing this and that almost makes him kinda noble..weird and invasive but noble...its mr robot who wants financial holocaust...But elliots acts would have eventually led to something like that anyway...wouldn't it??? But lets not forget that his actions led directly to the deaths of 3 people close to him. His girlfriend, his boss and his team member in f society. The road to hell, psychologically for him and in reality for others, is literally paved with his good intentions.
I guess my question is is Mr Robot really the catalyst personality who came up with the scheme or is he just the excuse that elliot uses to do the things HE really wanted to all along??
DARLENE - she didn't come up with the evil corp scheme but she's a true believer dead set on seeing it thru. Shes the kind of person you can't talk shit about something to because if it seems like a good idea and even remotely doable she'll fuckin do it with more enthusiasm than you had for it. From the family flash backs its clear that they grew up in a dysfunctional family and Darlene has her own issues as it was mentioned she has panic attacks..its just not as apparent as Elliot's...yet
ANGELA - She's a sell out. But under the circumstances she didn't have much choice. The real mind fuck for her is that the place where she is thriving is also the place that coldly decided it was better for business to let her mother die. At Allsafe she was mousy and unsure and at evil corp she's confident and proactive. At first I thought she was a geek like elliot, she's not, but in a certain way she is. She isn't a code hacker but since much of what hackers do is social engineering and information manipulation then in that way she is a hacker. Just as elliot uses information to insert himself into peoples lives on the internet..she did the same thing with e corp and the research she did to influence that case against them. Professionally she's on point but personally she's in a tailspin. Yall know she was gonna fuck old boy at the dinner. She was disappointed to see other people there when she showed up. Her instincts are right about Price but on deeper level she IS attracted either to him personally, he does take a mentor approach with her, or his power and confidence, he introduced himself at the dinner as a "master of the universe" (and he's not that far off).
Price tests her as well. Remember he told her to get fox news even tho the standing order was bloomberg first..when she questioned the order and asserted she was correct he relented. I think he just wanted to see if she would do as she's told or do whats good for the company even if it means challenging his order. Angela's moxy is positioning her to be pivotal in not just e corp but the life and death of the company itself...the question is is she really prepared to deal with it?
JOANNA WELLICK - Whats the line from Jurrasic Park "That one... when she looks at you, you can see she's working things out." Thats all you need to know about her.

I completely agree with all of it. It's like she has been doing this shit for years. I can't wait to see the Flashback on what she was doing during those 3 years and how she found out about the parking lot attendant. Side note.... I'm now 100% percent certain that Elliot's mom is in his head. No one has even acknowledged her presence and according to everyone she was a horrible parent who abused Elliot mentally and physically. So I wonder if Mr. Robot is really the manifestation that Elliot created as a kid to protect him when she abused him and he started off as shield for Elliot but then over time with all the Reboots that Elliot did to himself... Mr Robot got corrupted like a program and became more like a representation of his mom.

Wasn't this the first time that a show has shown a dark website in action. As soon as dude typed the web address... I was like oh shit.. Is this going to happen and then bam that shit looked exactly like a dark web site. The only difference is that they accessed it though Firefox. I guess they could REALLY show people how to do it on TV but close enough.
