This is why I don't understand the term "hating" anymore. He was asked a question. It wasn't like he just offered up an opinion. I believe it was when the internet made being a troll, hot takes and a bullsh*t contrarian, acceptable behavior on and off line.

So now we don't really trust expert opinions or ANY opinions anymore. ANY and all criticism is categorized as hating.

Yasiin is an undisputed legend his words hold weight. He can say whatever he wants especially about hip hop.

Doesn't mean he is RIGHT. Or doesn't have an agenda or really is just hating.

But that man track record overall in hip hop gives him weight.

It's his honest expert opinion and I completely understand why anyone would say hate because he don't usually talk like that outside the booth.
