The whites in Illinois and especially in Chicago lost their minds, They acted as if it was the most egregious crime committed since the OJ acquittal.

I know Judge Olu. He didn't get suspended for dismissing Juries. He got suspended for going after the Jefferson County Common wealth Attorney (Tom Wine). He called him racist and a bunch of other things. All the old black councilman and civic leaders refused to go along with it, so he basically took an L on that one.
I don't know when he has to run again but I expect someone is going to see him as vulnerable and go for his seat.

You are so correct with this statement.. I'm not a fan of jury duty, but I got selected last month, and I'm glad that I did. I was the only black juror on a case where a white cop tried to hem a young brutha up.. -- wasn't happening on my watch.. unfortunately for the prosecution, I probably knew more about police procedures, forensics and other law enforcement tactics that the local beasts here.. By the time jury deliberation was done, the defendant was not guilty on all counts, and I let the defendant know what route they should go as far as legal action(s) against the police.. and possible complaints against the district attorney for bringing that bullshit to court...
