I have blunt on ignore (just so he/she knows) but I did catch one of he/she comments about the realization of the rock being fake could be very embarrassing for the U.S. He/she actually brings up a good point. But since the U.S. has like 5 doctorates in Spin, a rebuttal similar to the question I proposed would have been equally just as effective imo (even if it wasn't true).
They could have even finished the statement with a "sorry for the confusion" to top it off.
Like I said, the no comment routine just leaves too much for speculation.

You sir are lying. Every time some mark comes out with "proof" it's shot down because a) they don't know anything about photography or b)space/gravity. The only thing that gets exposed is the hoaxer's stupidity.
You choose to believe these people and that's fine, for you. But the truth is there is no real, credible proof of the moon landing being a hoax.

I have made in effort to learn about both sides of the coin (simply because I love reading about history) and the scenario you proposed (Russia and U.S. actually being allies with the Cold War being a front)is an aspect of the perceived conflict I have come across.
Although some would say your scenario borders on lunacy fit for an avid conspiracy theorist it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was somewhat true.

1 The Govt. is too occupied with other things to even have known that NASA gave away "fake" Moon rocks, so their saying nothing was the best they could do considering the circumstances.
2 Leaving things they intentionally did wrong, or lied about up for interpretation is the standard M.O. for this Govt. (and others) so when finally caught, their defenders can still defend them and lose no ground while their detractors can attack them yet gain no traction. We are dealing with a tricky lot who all day dream up mysteries within enigmas, full of questionable doubts for both sides to ponder.
3 The Dutch are lying so they can get more Moon rocks?
4 The Americans sobered up years later after giving Moon rocks away when they discovered something of value about them (they do this with a lot of other things too) and started stealing them back "Mission Impossible" style. The Dutch are the first (but not the last) to notice they got "GOT" ... but look how long it took for them to notice!

The depiction of the serpent was a major theme in just about every mythology/religion in the world in ancient times. Kukulkan and Quetzalcoatl were essentially the same god in Meso American culture. But the wrinkled up galactic geezer in Stargate didn't look like that.

Well, that is one way to read the movie "Star Gate" but then there is the other side which is: Yes, he was the Sun god Ra.
I haven't seen it in years and the TV version changed things up a bit (as to be expected) but while watching it I got the idea that his kind had been acting as various GODS of the past to several civilizations. His kind was a warring species and they fought each other and used humans to fight each other to gain supremacy. He was the last of his kind because he had offed his competition on Earth and elsewhere. Humans revolted and damn near killed Ra on Earth and so Ra left for easier pickings. Good thing they buried the stargate or Ra might have ordered up an off world army to quell the rebellion and take back his prize.

From what I understood of the movie and TV back stories (a little different, but the same) is that a group of his kind did come to Earth thousands of years ago and they acted as various Gods to various civilizations. Not really, Gods are NOT immortal. The stories of the Gods dying are many in mythology. They just live much longer then we do and don't seem to age like we do. Kinda like a fruit fly to a human. They would see the same looking human that was talked about by several generations while we watched them come and go in a week's time.
His getting nuked does nothing to the theory that he was the real Ra because the real Ra disappeared in the Earth's past (possibly due to the revolt mentioned in the movie) and became Amon-Ra or Ra-Amon (The hidden/missing Sun God)
