MLB Legend Pete Rose dead at 83

I thought it was confirmed years ago that Pete Rose would be inducted into the Hall of Fame upon his death.

You might mean Ken Griffey, Jr. Oscar is from Indianapolis. You could probably field a hell of an all-star baseball team made up solely of guys born and raised in Cincinnati: Rose, Griffey, Jr., Leon Durham, Barry Larkin, David Justice, Lance Johnson, Dave Parker, Paul O'Neill, and that's just off the top of my head. I know there's a lot more.
I don't know how I forgot Ken Griffey Jr.

:hithead:
I used to see Leon Durham quite often when I was growing up in Cincy.
My uncle ran track with Dave Parker in Jr. High or High School.
One of my cousin's went to school with David Justice.
I went to school with Tuffy Rhoades who played for the Cubs, but he had more success in Japan. I think he still lives over.
Crazy thing about Tuffy, is that most people thought he was a better basketball player.

Pete Rose was a red neck piece of shit but that aside he deserved to be voted into the HOF because he earned his admittance by playing the game hard every day and his stats equal or surpass those of many of the greatest players who have been inducted.

He bet on games, so what? He never bet on his team to lose. Baseball oughta do the right thing and put him in the Hall posthumously. :hmm:
