Mitch McConnell openly plotting to steal Justice Breyer's seat and letting everyone know about it.

Well then sounds like you need to be blowing up Tim Scott’s and Rand Paul’s offices cause they’re the two hold ups on said bills.

Rand Paul is the reason why we didn’t get the Emmett Till bill last session. Tim Scott is holding up the George Floyd bill now trying to negotiate with the police :smh:
He’s not negotiating he’s stalling. And Corey Booker is a clown.

Was there a commission on expanding the Supreme Court?
Not sure, but I doubt it. I can't imagine a world where the Dems honestly have the political will to do that in any productive way. The sad irony is that it's something that probably should be done (along with a reform on how the Court itself operates), but it will forever be seen as a partisan maneuver.

Do you know what’s really ironic about your post? “Saving this country” is partisan. You already know all the bad people in this story — they’re the registered republicans. If you’re looking for nuances that’s the registered democrats who seem to eschew conservative “values”.

I kinda wish that Dems/liberals would push that narrative. Instead of implying that they can reason/negotiate in good faith with the fringe (now practically mainstream) conservatives at the national level, simply acknowledge that they are too far gone and then move on to making sure they can't regain or maintain any power because of their warped view of things.

Republicans have no problem with framing the Democratic party this way, even if it's not true. But Dems, sad to say, really don't have a killer instinct about that. There is a logic to it, because the more liberal side has really become "the folks who don't want facism", but the legislating/executive block of that group tends to side all over the spectrum of opinions of how to make that work. Not surprising, either: it's easier to being a dictator/run an oligarchy than to have a free flow of ideas.

The republicans are engaged in clear provocation. States are infringing on the rights of its citizens and the federal government is hamstrung by choice. They want you to believe this is politics.

The Democrats are gonna have mufus stop voting for them :smh:

Unfortunately you may be right and I have to ask "how will that help if they do". The more Democrats are defeated at the polls because of people not voting the easier it will be for Republicans to continue enacting fucked up discriminatory laws. :hmm:

That’s the end game. Democrats for the most part are wholly owned by corporations.

They don t understand this. Neither do the voters. You can t play with elections talking about "Don t vote" and "her emails".

You better get a clue and understand that elections have consequences.

And you can definitely blame RBG and Breyer for being selfish...... you have to rotate out and keep renewing your political party's 30 years on the court with 40 something year old judges with your views.

They aren’t selfish: they are white. This is about preserving capitalism and its whiteness.

Yep blame the people, not the shitty politicians.
:smh:

:smh:

Yes it's a no brainer, I blame the people because if they don't vote all that will happen is there will be more shitty politicians. The only will to get rid of a shitty politician is to VOTE him or her out; sitting on your ass accomplishes nothing. :hmm:

It angers the shit out of me to hear ignorant ass black people say they are not going to get off their ass and exercise a right so many of their ancestors died for them to have.

It’s ridiculous to ask spineless people to stand up for you. Some black people have a right to question duplicitous white people.

I'm missing your point. Of course black people have the right to question duplicitous white people and they should, but why should that prompt them not to exercise the hard fought for right to vote? I agree the system is becoming more and more rigged against black people due to voter suppression tactics and gerrymandering but It is the only non-violent means available to get rid of corrupt politicians, their duplicity not withstanding. :hmm:

Until white people see the evil in their ways we the minority won’t matter.

Dog, we don’t matter. You just haven’t figured it out yet.

Okay... You seem willing to sit on the sidelines and bitch about the state of things but unwilling to even attempt to better them by doing a simple thing like voting. Many a black man and woman died for you to be able to cast a ballot but apparently you have no appreciation for their sacrifice. Doesn't make you a bad person but that's so uncool my brother. :hmm:

I have voted in every election since I was 18. Not just presidential — every goddamn election.

I think you can’t tell you’ve been conquered.

Nope. That's not what you said or implied.
You said of it's a shitty Democrat candidate, we must vote for him over the Republican nominee, or else.

I said no such thing nor implied it. There is almost always a clear distinction between Democratic and Republican candidates and their party platforms; so much so that not voting at all shouldn't be an option. :hmm:

The democrats aren’t chewing or walking. They’re in a coma.

Wheres the Police Reform George Floyd Bill?

Democrats are in a coma because the Police Reform George Floyd Bill and other Democratic initiatives are being blocked by obstructionist Republicans??? Seems you have little knowledge of how the legislative process works. It's a numbers game. If you have the numbers you can advance your legislative agenda all the way to enactment into law. If you don't you can't. That is why it is of the utmost importance to vote in such numbers that Republican obstructionism is rendered ineffective. :hmm:

If they were to change the filibuster, they would only need Kamala. They choose not to.
