Michael Jackson is, like all non white people, subject to the system of racism/white supremacy. He is not the one that created the hate. It is the system of racism/white supremacy. Sir, you even have Malcolm quoted at the begining of your post, which i believe was refering to the system of racism/white supremacy and not non white people. Malcolm was focusing on what caused the hate and not the victims of this global, national, local system. Trust me Sir, if 90% of the non white people on the universe had the same opportunity as Michael they would also want to be white. oNe!!!

Sir, you might love your skin color and i respect that but i don't think that you want to belong to a race. Black people don't belong to a race. And yeah most rich black people that don't want to bleach themselves out are still subject to racism/white supremacy just like MJ was. Moat os them fashion their lives according to racist/white supremacist customs and values. oNe!!!
Here r some facts and a couple opinions about MJ and his skin color.
1. http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/2007-12-16-vitiligo_N.htm Check out this guy. He had vitiligo and his spots looks exactly the way Jackson skin looked. In a few years this guy will be pale white just like MJ.
2. The back story on this is that shortly after he was burned he noticed a white spot on his hand and went to a dermotologist. Over the next year he developed more spots on his face and chest. He began wearing heavy pancake makeup to cover up the blotches(Look at the 1985 Grammys to see heavy makeup) By 1987 he began to wear heavier makeup to blend in this complextion and began to use precriptioned skin lightner to even his complextion. He was told he had 2 choices. 1. Use the makeup to be whiter in appereance or use ultra-violet to darken the white spots. He chose to use makeup and he began the look we all know today.
3. I had an employee who had vitiligo and I was shocked at his apperance the 1st time I met him. He was a dark skin black man who was ghostly white in certain places on his face,neck and hands. I asked him questions about this and he answered them honestly. He said it started with a spot on his neck and progressed to cover 80% of his body.He couldnt afford the creams when it 1st happened so he had spots on his face which freaked people out. He said he met MJ and they talked about it and he said MJ helped him deal with his situation.
I never met Jackson and am very sad he has died but the joke of this is that people specualate about what he thought based on media presentation of how he bleached his skin to be white. He suffered from a pigment disorder in front of the world for over 20 years did he bleach his skin...yes he did but after he was already suffering from vitiligo. He may have had issues with his father and didnt like his appearance but he did have vitiligo and we are not privy to really know whats fact,fantasy,lies or TRUTH.

the world just lost a fucking cultural icon who has in some way or another touched the lives of everyone on the board..
and NOW niggas wanna take the opportunity to try to bash him in the wake of his death? like seriously..of all times..right NOW?!..
instead of simply celebrating the man's life OR keeping whatever negative shit you may have to say about him to yourself ya niggas chose to talk shit two days after his death..
