He was part of the reason why I watched the show. Him and Steve Young were a decent combo to watch.

exactly... jaws and ucle tom jackson aren't worth a shit. jaws sucks as an analyst. i won't even watch the show next year. at least irvin brought some sense of humor and kept it real on the show. jaws and uncle tom jackson try to hard to over analyze and try to be soo fuckin perfect that sometime they really look like asses with their comments. I saw Irvin on Carson Daly's show after he received his HOF nod and I know for a fact he was high as a kite. There was a latino (I guess) chick on their with him (padma lakshi) who brought some food with her and Irvin went at that shit like a slave going to freedom ! Steve Young and Merril Hoge make it watchable and at least they have Mark Schlereth on SC now. But none of them have shit on the College Gameday crew, Kirk, Lee and Mark May are great.
