Key notes:

- Heat Open up on October 29 at home against the Wizards.
-9 of the first 15 are at home.
- Christmas home game vs the Lebron and the Cavs
- Wizards, Raptors & Rockets opening week(damn what a opening week)
- Heat have 5 appearances scheduled on TNT(Cavs & Bulls have 10, Thunder, Bulls, Lakers, Clippers, Warriors have 9)
-Heat will play 40 of their 82 games on Friday nights, Saturdays or Sundays(guess the trying to counter the potential attendance with Lebron leaving)
-3 back-to-backs in the first 12 days(WTF)

Wade has to be pissed about 3 back to back within the first two weeks.
The Wizs are missing Beal so that may be a win to starts things off. The Raptors & Rockets will be different.

I wonder why they fuck up the schedule like that, meanwhile you will get a stretch where they will have two games in a whole week.:smh:.

I hope Wade will be available more this season :yes:

Dwyane Wade's quest to rewind time won't be easy
457007162.0_standard_709.0.jpg

The Heat star was able to fade into the background with LeBron James on his team. Now, he must reassume the leading role four years and several injuries later. Can he do it?

What more could Dwyane Wade want? After two first-round exits in the 2009 and 2010 NBA Playoffs, Miami's favorite two-guard seemed doomed to superlative individual performance on teams with no shot at winning titles. Something had to be done. A decision had to be made.

LeBron James proved to be just what the doctor ordered, making life easier for Wade in a multitude of ways. In the past, Wade was tasked with do everything. He brought the ball up the court, defended the opponent's best wing player and executed the offense in crucial situations. As he grew older and James continued to rise, Wade also played less minutes than before. Last year, you could argue he used the equivalent of paid time off during the regular season.

It's not a stretch to say no superstar had it made more than Wade. With four NBA Finals appearances and two more rings, Wade etched in stone his case as a first-ballot Hall of Famer and his team's all-time greatest player without actually shouldering the burden of carrying the franchise. He lived one helluva life for four years.

Then, James decided to take his talents back home. In the span of a few months, the Miami Heat went from reloading their super team to rebuilding the foundation of the roster to save face. After four years of sitting in the passenger seat of LeBron's powerful Batmobile, Wade now takes the keys of his used Nissan Maxima. It's a nice car and it was hot four years ago, but it's not the Batmobile. Nothing's like the Batmobile.

This is life for Dwyane Wade, a 32-year old with almost 900 games and 32,000 minutes on his timecard. Four years after he ceded the role to LeBron, he must once again become the leader of men in Miami.

There are some areas of continuity for Wade to use. Many other key parts of the last four years still remain on the roster, parts like Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen. Bosh will now be sitting in the front passenger seat alongside Wade, but Bosh too will have the opportunity to take the wheel like he did in Toronto four years prior. This may be more of a dual partnership than a Batman-Robin situation.

I really hope Ray Allen sign back with the Heat

It would surprise me, if he do.....
Seem like Ray fuck with Lebron hard. I think he said something like, "He's never been around a player that looks out for his teammates like Lebron".

NBA: Ray Allen Would Solidify Cleveland Cavaliers as Title Favorites

Ray Allen hasn’t found a team yet, but if he chooses the Cleveland Cavaliers it will solidify them as title favorites

There isn’t much in the world of sports that can guarantee a spot on a roster. Being a two-time NBA championship and the greatest three-point shooter in league history is one of the rare combinations that can do that.

39-year-old shooting guard Ray Allen is a perfect example of this. Despite missing roughly a week of training camp, Allen is reportedly close to inking a deal to return for his 19th season after extending his summer.

Chances are, no one will bat an eye about the time he’s missed. That’s what being a legend does for you.

According to Glenn Moore of FanSided, Allen has signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Marc Stein of ESPN has since responded with an update on the situation:

Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio put an end to the rumors—temporarily.

Regardless of how long it takes, it’s widely expected that Allen will sign with Cleveland at one point or another.

Once the Cavaliers manage to ink the all-time leader in almost every three-point shooting category, they’ll complete what has been a monumental summer. Despite past fights against super teams from owner Dan Gilbert, he caved in and built one of his own.

Allen would round out what would be the undeniable favorite to win the NBA championship in 2014-15.

Solidifying a Deep Second Unit

The Cleveland Cavaliers have as much raw ability as you could possibly ask for in their starting lineup. They also have a bench that has enough talent to potentially win 15 games in the Eastern Conference on its own.

That’s not hyperbole:

For a group that’s playing behind three starters in Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love that will all likely see near 35 minutes per game, that’s a scary level of backup talent.

That’s not hyperbole:

For a group that’s playing behind three starters in Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love that will all likely see near 35 minutes per game, that’s a scary level of backup talent.

With a star-studded starting lineup, the Cavaliers are already a favorite to win at least 50 games in the Eastern Conference. During his first tenure in Cleveland, James alone all but guaranteed a 60-win season.

Add Ray Allen to a second unit that includes Shawn Marion, Mike Miller and Anderson Varejao, however, and there’s a nine-man rotation that could all see at least 20 minutes on almost any team in the NBA.

Marion was even starting for the Dallas Mavericks in 2013-14—a playoff team. Varejao was starting for the Cavaliers and both Allen and Miller played in excess of 20 minutes per contest on playoff teams, as well.

Allen may not be the player he used to be, and neither are Marion or Miller. What Marion remains, however, is an excellent defender who has proven himself time-after-time in the playoffs against elite talent—LeBron included.

Since teaming up with Allen on past teams, when James does run into trouble, the all-time marksman always seems to step up.

Invaluable.

Varejao isn’t the rim protector that Cleveland still needs, but he’s one of the best rebounders and pick-and-roll defenders at his position. Swap him into the starting lineup and Tristan Thompson onto the bench and the value remains with more upside.

Miller had an excellent 2013-14 season with the Memphis Grizzlies, converting 45.9 percent of his three-point field goals in 20.9 minutes. He also shot 48.3 percent from distance in 24.7 minutes during the playoffs and is responsible for all-time NBA Finals shooting performances.

Those performances were as a member of the Miami Heat. James, James Jones and Allen were both on those teams.

Even Matthew Dellavedova began to show his potential at the end of 2013-14.

Allen is 39, but he averaged 26.5 minutes per game in 2013-14 and shot 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. He remains an exceptionally conditioned athlete who, even in the latter years of his career, is both clutch and reliable from three-point range.

Collectively, Cleveland would have one of the best second units in basketball. Allen would be a major reason why.

Championship Experience

The Cleveland Cavaliers have immense talent in the likes of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Anderson Varejao and Dion Waiters. That lineup looks like a playoff team, although the Cavaliers fell short with a debatably deeper roster in 2013-14.

For as much potential as that group has, it lacks one thing to get over the edge: championship experience.

Four-time MVP LeBron James is the face of the franchise and a two-time NBA champion. His presence alone doesn’t make up for the inexperience of his teammates, however, and that’s why Cleveland has been so methodical in its signings.

The Cavaliers signed 2011 NBA champion Shawn Marion—the man who defended James during the worst series of his postseason career.

Cleveland also signed two-time NBA champions James Jones and Mike Miller, who were sharpshooters during James’ title runs with the Miami Heat and heralded locker room presences.

That triumvirate of talent is certainly strong from a leadership perspective, but Allen brings a different type of presence. He’s a legend and sure-fire Hall of Famer who many young players grew up watching.

That applies to Cleveland’s roster that consists of a 22-year-old Irving, 26-year-old Love, 23-year-old Thompson and 22-year-old Waiters.

That type or aura goes a long way in a locker room where egos are fragile and veteran guidance is vital for a young team. Allen would help round out a second unit of veterans who can all keep the starters focused on the prize at hand.

For the starters, there’s next season. For a player like Allen, who hasn’t even decided if he’s going to retire or not, there may not be.

Don’t underestimate the value of a legend pursuing one last ring and the impact he’d have on those surrounding him.

That would be Allen in Cleveland.

With a star-studded starting lineup, the Cavaliers are already a favorite to win at least 50 games in the Eastern Conference. During his first tenure in Cleveland, James alone all but guaranteed a 60-win season.

Ray would be much more valuable on court with the Cavs not for his production but as an on court coach and a mentor to their younger players... Miami still needs a few sharp shooters but I'd rather they go with youth..
The way I look at the Heat, is that they are a two year project where they have to put the right pieces together.. Shabazz and Deng is a good start, from here on they need players who will be here for at least 4 years and Ray ain't that guy..

Really now

I wouldnt want Deng as the backup even if Lebron stayed....not fully sold on napier but he looks better than he did un summer league

The Heat have shot the three ball terribly in preseason.....and if there are not major changes to the constant trapping scheme then a long season of headaches await

Last season, this shits woulda been 74 pages before the OP hit submit on this motherfucker, talking about 3 peats and dynastys and the big 3 reupping for a long run and shit... Funny how a real good, country go get yo' own switch ass whipping like the Spurs put on these motherfuckers can changes that shit up!!

Now, Niggas sweating an undersized PG who can't shoot, posting pictures of DWade soaking his bum ass knees and projecting a fucking dinosaur as MVP!?!?

Can't make this shit up!!! Heat nation fell from a few million to 4 die hard motherfuckers in this thread with the stroke of the pen on one 'I'm Coming Home' letter!!! Gilbert left a lot of Butt hurt motherfuckers slobbering on themselves in this bitch!!

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Deng and Napier are low risk, high reward players, hey if it doesn't pan out so what, but at least they have attributes that can have an immediate impact for this team..
To be honest, the club has issues that can't be fixed in one season, even with LeBron here, matter of fact that is the main reason why he isn't here.. But that does not mean those needs can't be worked on and corrected in two years.. To me Deng and Napier are at least a good attempt and start at fixing the team main problems..

Correct with or without Lebron the scheme is there.
Granted involving Bosh more would've help, but Lebron being Lebron he probably would've wanted his fair share, along with ball handling duties.

I do like the signings of Granger, Deng with McRoberts. These additions showing Riley knew Lebron was leaving because the first players he really push after was Deng(who I felt was his Lebron's replacement). The history of Danny vs Lebron, and the elbow hit from McRobert are questionable if your planning to bring LEBRON back.

Now taking James out the equation, they're solid pieces when you had trouble landing a PR splash addition.

Ray would help but not solve the systematic problems...

You trying to hard now.

Sixers in another rebuilding year still fuckin up lottery picks :smh:

Hit dog barks bruh... "LeBron ain't going nowhere"... Riley gonna do this and that and get him pieces around him... blah blah blah...

Now!?!?! Oh, Napier's the next Zeke! Granger and McRoberts are the shit and Deng about to be first team all NBA!!! Oh, and Queen Bosh is gonna be MVP!!!

Yeah, my Sixers are rebuilding, but I'm a realist!! Gilbert and LeBron used Miami, Riley, Wade and Bosh AND their fans, bandwagon and real, to get what they want and then discarded y'all asses like a used tampon!!!

Got y'all in here trying to hype each other up!! Picture of D Wade soaking his damn crippled ass knees!!

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Again without the dog and pony show and non sensical rants. Shouldn't you be concerned with the 76ers development and what they doing this year? Why are you heavy in Cavs and Heat threads? Simple answer

Who said Napier is the next zeke?

How did Miami get used? Are you saying they got used to the tune of 2 championships and 4 straight conference titles? That's being used? Heat got 3 titles and 5 conference titles.. Not bad for a expansion team..

It'll be interesting to see how Bosh performs this season, who do the Heat have as good outside shooters ?? Who is the 3 point specialist on the team ?
