For me, Black people being executed disproportionally puts the whole system in question & the death penalty becomes a way for White people to murder Black folks legally. I cannot accept that, the style is rigged. & you accept that, & you still support the death penalty so in that aspect we are different.
So,you're saying that if a black or white man raped your sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and niece that you wouldn't want him dead, but would want him to spend the rest of his life in prison because your against the death penalty being legal to kill a black man who wasn't shit. But I also, would rather that person to get the death penalty that did that shit to my family whether he was a CAC or not.
We aren't the same. I respect your views though.
I just see shit differently, I wouldn't be able to handle seeing a rapist back on the street when he should've been dead, but some people rather give them a second chance or keep them in prison for life.

I believe a government must have a moral standard on how it treats its citizens & killing it's citizens no matter what they did shouldn't be in the moral character of a nation. This country is morally bankrupt so I can't support that.
Also, I said there are racial disparities in this system so from the macro level, more Black people are executed disproportionally than White people so it's even unfair from a statistically standpoint, White Supremacy is baked into the system.
Peep this graph, the number of Black people lynched vs. the number of Black people executed...., notice the similarities?
