Messi The Greatest Ever?

Yes.

Where is the contradiction?

:confused:

Ronaldo disappeared during the finals when it mattered most.

Up till that point, he was the best player.

Zidane controlled that entire game, he got every other touch and scored 2 headers to dismantle Brazil.
This man orchestrated the defeat of brazil in a match brazil was supposed to win.

I was backing Brazil and my youngest brother was backing france as he was already a Zidane fanatic and i was a Ronaldo fanatic.

Go look at it again.
true but dont forgot he had a hart attack ronaldo. they forced him to play or he forced himself i dont know. he shouldnt have played that match.

He said:

''Messi needs to dominate on the World Stage.

Not win a World Cup...... dominate on the way to winning.''

That sounds like he is speaking about the totality of the tournament and not one game, if that is the case, how did Zidane do that?

Zidane dominated in 2006. That can't be denied by anyone who watched France play in 2006. That is just 2006. That was a dominant run. That is why he won the Golden Ball.

You have to let that argument goal. You are trying to argue that Zidane has not dominated at the World Cup.

Zidane has multi-dominant goals over multiple world cups.

Let me ask you a question:

How many world cup goals has Messi scored?

Grand tally of 0. :lol:

But I am not arguing that, I am talking about about kayanation's insistence that Zidane dominated the entire World Cup 98 tournament :confused:

^^^

I have to go with eewwll on this one. Zizou showed the world what a great player he really was.

Hmmm......I wonder how many goals has messi scored in the world cup?

My dude he said World Cup 98!!!!!, I know he dominated World Cup 06, but even then France did not win which contradicts his statement of

''Messi needs to dominate on the World Stage.

Not win a World Cup...... dominate on the way to winning.''

Where is the confusion?

That shit was magic man. He dominated other teams but look at the players on that 2006 Brazil squad. He had them looking like amateurs.

He hasn't contradicted himself.

Messi at least needs to dominate a game or multiple games in the cup. Clearly Zidane dominated the most important game in 1998... the fucking World Cup Final.

Again, Kayanation did not make a point about World Cup 06, he pointed to World Cup 98, if that is the case, how did Zidane dominate the entire tournament, save the 2 goals in the final?

If you had watched the games that France played during that tournament, Zidane was at the heartbeat of that French side. Everything went through him. His team mates knew it, the opposition knew it, but they couldn't stop him for the full 90 minutes of a game. He set up most of france's goals during that tournament.

He said Zidane single handed dominated a world cup and threw up a clip of world cup 98, if that is what he is talking about how did he do that with 2 goals and no assists????

goals and assists?

This is not basketball lol

Zidane dominated the WC in 1998.

He did that shit in 2006 again

:cool:

man you just gave me s=chills.

The 1st time I looked at the replays of that game with Brazil (2006), I realized that during the live game I underestimated the full impact of Zidane, the FULL impact.

During the live game I saw him dominate that game and demolish Brazil.

Then the replay show HOW, that man was fucking dancing with the ball.

Dancing, not this shit :dance: but a fucking ballet.

Spinning and ballerina shit on the fucking ball :eek:

:smh::smh::smh:

Man. That ranks up there in my top 5 in terms of dominant play. Zidane was giving teams that work :yes::yes:

yeah man.

That dude was fucking up kaka in midfield, cafu, ronaldinho etc...

Robinho was starving for balls.

it seems like every other touch was Zidane.

it reminded me of maradona in 1986, every other touch was his.

:smh::smh::smh:

It looks like to dominate every other ball needs to be yours, orchestrating the whole show.

Zidane was everywhere!

:lol:

I played some beach soccer on Sunday and was schooling my nephew :lol:

man it felt good for the 15 mins before i got winded :lol:

Yo eewwll, check out this Zidane video, the maestro himself :eek:

i tried practicing the move at 4:40 mark but forget that :smh:

That's the kind of shit you do during a game and you don't know how the fuck you did it.

Had some of those moments when I was younger during competitive games, shit would just slow down and your timing was so good that you would literally beat someone by moving the ball very slightly.

:lol:

That's one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen. He literally embarrassed them man. He didn't just dominate, he embarrassed them. That ranks in my top 5 of most dominant performances of ANY sport considering the stage and opponent.

yeah man.

That dude was fucking up kaka in midfield, cafu, ronaldinho etc...

Ronaldinho was in his prime too...that was hyped as a huge matchup and Zidane straight owned Ronaldinho... I don't think Ronaldinho has ever recovered from that shit.. he was never the same player after that.. seriously.

:lol::lol::lol:

The very truth.

It was supposed to be his World Cup, the biggest stage.

man I hear Zidane told the french team, "we die out there".

That man was running through the entire Brazil midfield, down each wing, Brazil players were falling down, couldn't get him off the ball.

This man was twirling the ball over brazil heads, doing shit in the air in one fluid motion.

That was beauty to see.......

And that shit was almost 10 years after winning the World Cup in 1998

Dude left it all out there.

he was never one to stand and wait on a defender to dribble him.

He was just relentless with his orchestration, you couldn't get the ball from him and you couldn't stop his distribution.

Remember too it was an old ass squad he had with Viera, Thuram etc.

:lol:

got fat andshit.

Man.. it's the culture... Brazil has a party culture... partying is a part of the culture . It's hard to put it into words until you spend a lot of time here. Young brazilians in the prime of their lives with access to millions, etc.... not a good mix :lol::lol: and they get fat on the beer man... Brazilians drink a lot of beer...

:lol::lol::lol:

The very truth.

\

Brazil has never forgiven Ronaldinho for that shit. People were mad as fuck.

The Zidane shit was tramatic though because he had already fucked Brazil in the 98 cup.

It was a mixture of the utmost respect and trauma. Brazilians felt violated. Brazilians get very mad when people where other teams jerseys and shit during the cup... but they wouldn't even look at people with Zidane shirts on out of shame...

Yo eewwll

Just read brazil was held to 1 shot on goal during that game with France 2006

:eek:

This is with Ronaldinho, Robinho, Kaka, cafu, Ronaldo, Adriano, Gilberto etc....

Straight owned the entire team.

Also:
At the 1998 World Cup, Cesare Maldini, the manager of the Italian team, said: "I would give up five players to have Zizou in my squad

:eek::eek::eek:

I'm telling you man. That's top 5 most dominant performance I've ever watched live.

I mean.. I'm talking Tiger in the Masters, Usain Bolt in the last Olympics,.... it's in the list.

It's definitely the most dominant football moment I've watched live because he dominated multiple great players for an entire game.

That game looked like you put an all-time great out there with high schoolers...

Neymar will be better than all of them
Watch
neymar is overrated as fuck. i prefer ganso over him.

if they resting their sixth star on him then its not going to look good come 2014.:smh:

too much pressure on a player that havent proven shit.

i honestly think the key for brazil in 2014 is....

robinho9_799936c.jpg

:yes::yes::yes:

Have to co-sign this

Also consider that the team barely qualified for that World Cup, Zidane and Thuram came out of retirement.
Everyone was hyped on Ronaldinho, Robinho, Kaka etc....

Then all of a sudden Brazil couldn't get the ball

Let of 1 shot at goal for the entire 90 minutes

:lol:
