I think Michael Bivens was the actual leader. Ralph and Bobby were the lead singers.
Ralph and Bobby were boys. Ralph was upset when Bobby was voted out by Micheal Bivins, Ronnie Devoe and Ricky Bell. Michael Bivins threw a bottle at Bobby Brown for some reason and that's how the vote happened. Bobby was feeling himself I believe missing shows, singing too long amongst other stuff. Michael Bivins later approached Johnny Gill to join the group. As far as leader of the group I don't think there was ever actually a leader. The lead singer depended on the song. Most of the time Ralph sung lead with Bobby alternating on certain songs. Which is why Ralph was upset when Bob was kicked out it meant he had to sing lead all the time.

None of them have to get a job due to touring. My homie that’s a direct connect with them said they each cleared $4m last year after the tour hence the reason for their newest tour starting soon, their Vegas residency is going to be huge……coming soon.
they gonna have to keep touring to get that bread, cuz of the simple fact that didnt write anything on their albums,.......all that radio play just made someone else's payday.
