He was escorted out for not paying his tabs.. he made the threats on the way out.. witnesses said a person fitting the same description was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting, which was 30 minutes after he was supposed to be gone from the location. The person seen fleeing the scene after the shooting, fit the same description of the person that made threats after being escorted out, down to the same clothing and build. Being a suspect does not make you guilty. Is that clear enough for you?

NO, but its obvious why they would want to question the person if witnesses see person fleeing the scene after the shooting matching the exact same description, especially given the fact he was asked to leave the premises 30 minutes before, therefor needing to explain why he was even there if that was him.

Police in Maryland have charged two men in the slaying of an off-duty Maryland state trooper outside an Applebee's restaurant last week.

Prince George's County police said Monday that 27-year-old Cyril Cornelius Williams and 28-year-old Anthony Anderson Milton II are charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 24-year-old Trooper Wesley Brown.

The trooper was working as a security guard early Friday and had escorted Williams out after a dispute over an unpaid bill. Later Brown was shot multiple times in the parking lot.

Police say Milton told investigators that he and Williams carried out the shooting, though police wouldn't say who pulled the trigger.


The men have not yet retained attorneys, but a former attorney for Williams said his firm has represented him in the past and found him to be "a pretty good guy" who has won most of his cases.


Police said Williams is the man seen in surveillance footage from the Applebee's restaurant. About 30 minutes before the shooting, the trooper escorted him out of the restaurant for becoming unruly over an unpaid bill.

Police say the 27-year-old Williams and his 28-year-old friend Milton came back with a semi-automatic handgun intent on killing the trooper.

"We believe the motive for the shooting is that Mr. Williams was upset that he was kicked out of the restaurant. Nothing more, nothing less," said Davis.


The trooper was shot multiple times. Police said Milton waived his right to stay silent and confessed to the murder.

"This is a bittersweet moment for all of us that a young trooper was cut down way before his time," said Col. Terrence Sheridan, Superintendent of Maryland State Police.


The two suspects have an extensive criminal background. Williams has been charged with a slew of gun and drug crimes in the past, including attempted murder on a police officer in 2006. According to court documents, the officer was responding to reports of shots fired during a New Year's Eve party. His patrol car was hit several times and the suspect kept firing as the officer got out of the vehicle. According to charging documents, a witness identified Williams as the shooter. But prosecutors later dropped the charges saying there was not enough evidence.

Milton's record involves various assault and weapons charges as well.
