word. he probably heard about what happened to dude in B-more and was paranoid it might happen to him, so he struck first.

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley says the reward being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the slaying of a Maryland state trooper is now $75,000.
Authorities say Trooper 1st Class Wesley W. Brown was killed early Friday at an Applebee's restaurant.
O'Malley said Saturday that Applebee's Services Inc. is adding $25,000 on top of the $50,000 reward already being offered by Prince George's County police, Metro Crime Stoppers and the state of Maryland.
Police continue to review surveillance video and search for a man who is considered a person of interest in the case.
They described him as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 130 pounds.
Anyone with information is urged to call the department's homicide unit at (301) 772-4925.
The family is planning a public viewing for Brown on June 18 in Capitol Heights. Brown's funeral will be held on June 19 at 10 a.m. at Jericho City of Praise in Largo.

According to local media outlets, The person of interest has been found, questioned, and released. He was never arrested and never taken into custody. However, he is still a person of interest. I hope justice is served and that the right person pays the price.

Policeman put their pants on just like I do. They are not supermen or superwomen and most of them don't think they are better than anyone else. It's a J-O-B just like anything else. Many brothers/sisters take the job because they can make $40,000+ without a college degree, have benefits, and retire in 20 years. It's that simple. The MD Trooper that was killed was 24 years old, Africian American, belonged to a motorcycle club, and probably was doing the same shit that most 24 years old on this board do.
If I'm speeding or I'm not wearing a seatbelt I really can't be mad if I get pulled over. If I get pulled over for speeding and I've got a warrant, I'm expecting to go to jail until I appear in court or until I make bail. If anything, hate the law makers, not the law enforcers.

He was found last night and brought in for questioning.
No charges have been filed yet.
Even if he DIDN'T do it, I hope dude had the common sense to retain council and bring them with him.
Im go to that spot often to catch the games and other shit like UFC etc.. its usually never a problem because most people there are regulars, especially around the bar area. I actually know ppl that were in the building the night of the incident presumably watching the game. Divine keeps mentioning the possibility of the officer mistreating the guy and what makes him the shooter or suspect.. he was a POI because when he was being escorted out he made threats and said he would be back. The situation started over a bar tab somewhere in the range of $100. He started causing a scene and the restaurant asked him to leave, after not leaving thats when the officer stepped in and told him he had to go. He didnt physically drag him out, he placed himself between the guy and the person/group he was arguing with and walked him towards the door.

Being brought in for questioning after a cop murder and leaving the building is a good sign he's in the clear.

It's a good sign. But it could also mean they don't have enough evidence as of yet.
I'm sure since he's the only POI, they'll have an unmarked tailing him and keeping tabs for the next week or so until they can be absolutely sure he wasn't involved.

He was escorted out for not paying his tabs.. he made the threats on the way out.. witnesses said a person fitting the same description was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting, which was 30 minutes after he was supposed to be gone from the location. Do the fucking math, its 1+1. Even if he didnt do it, its common sense why he would be a fucking suspect.
