It was self defense up until after the :39 mark of the latest video. I've said that from the very beginning. No matter how you want to try to escalate the scenario. I've gone over that whole incident second by second. I've pointed out what i saw. It's what the prosecution will see. I have no personal feelings 1 way or another about this guy other than, he was stupid. He let these hoodrats influence his life to the point where he's very likely to go back to prison.
It's a shame that he couldn't act with a higher mind and felt he had to respond with his animal instincts. Now it's a shame that girl couldn't have let slip by whatever he said to her to set her off to begin with. Now she's brain damaged. Possibly.

This is why women should just not comment on certain situations. In many cases people conceal the gun until they get right up on you and blaze you. Pull the gun out beforehand and everyone takes off running.
Some of you really live in a fantasy world. There are no extreme scenarios when people who look like us commit over 60 percent of the homicides and WE tend to be the victims. It is reasonable to assume your attacker has a weapon.
Think about how many homicide victims should have reacted like this cat and not let their attacker retrieve a weapon.
