Good analysis but wasn't shit Lucky about that Marquez punch
All 3 fights prior Juan landed his licks on Manny, judges robbed Juan on that b.s manny would just thrown volume punches that don't even land.... Shit is comical
Juan counter punched and landed on Manny all fuckin day... That Juan punch was only a matter of time before Manny got caught... Simple as that
He punches and lung at the same time leaving himself completely exposed
There's a vid on YouTube now of Juan with his sparring partner mimicking manny and in true fashion caught his sparring partner with the same punch
100! Luck didn't have shit to do with that punch. He timed Pac's wild shit. That punch reminded me of Floyd's check hook on Hatton, only Juan's was a right hand and more of a straight punch. If you look at the tape of how both punches were set up you'll see the similarities.
This is in poor taste but for whatever reason i typically give May a pass for his bullshit and just enjoy the show.
What i ment by "lucky" IMO was the fact that it was right on the button of the chin. YES he landed many other ones to the head/face but THIS one was right on sweet spot.. and "The Sweet Spot" is harder to catch than just a head shot.Good analysis but wasn't shit Lucky about that Marquez punch

That's not "luck" if the punch landed exactly where he was aiming it. That's like saying Lebron is "lucky" when he makes his shots, because he also missed the same shots at other times. Marquez planned that punch based on studying Pac's style. He even dropped his sparring partner with the exact punch in the exact situation as he did in the fight. You can't say that a punch that dropped Pac twice in the same fight was any form of "luck" the second time it landed. And Pac was only ahead by one point in that fight when he got put to sleep. It's not like Pac was "winning" by a wide margin and "got caught" on a fluke. It's also not like Marquez didn't out box Pac in their last fight, too. What i ment by "lucky" IMO was the fact that it was right on the button of the chin. He repeatedly threw the punch...
Only luck was it didn't land earlier...
Juan 3 and one draw imop

Marquez has been out boxing this guy for years and people still want to discredit the man's win. He won the first two round dropped Pac in the third. Pac was coming back but Juan was right there with him when he landed that punch. This isn't the first time Marquez has been trading with motherfuckers and he shut out their light in the middle of them looking good. He is a counter puncher and he wants motherfuckers to get busy so he can do his job which is countering. Nothing was lucky about the punch. It wasn't a once in a lifetime punch. That is what he does.
Floyd never need Manny as much as Manny needed Floyd. Floyd's already got more money than he knows what to do with and Manny blown what small percentage of his purse he'd earned. He's the one in debt with Bob Arum, not Floyd. Manny played games with the terms early on and eventually overestimated his cut in negotiations. Floyd had NO incentive to cave. They're talking about Floyd missing out on $100 million as if he won't make that in his next two fights anyway. Check the top all-time boxing purses, Floyd earned most of them. It's Manny who missed out. It's a shot. Floyd looks at Marquez should have been pissed because that could have been Floyd out there cleaning Manny's clock, but instead you let a guy who has lost to Manny three times get that "eye of the tiger", and beat Manny. Now that Manny vs Floyd is a worthless fight because there is nothing at stake.
co-sign, People don't remember how humble dude was as "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather, but "Money" Mayweather sells more tickets.....that wouldn't be Floyd. the whole concept of the character that he made up, that made him rich, and has now consumed him, is the guy that people can't WAIT to see get KO'd.

Okay okay. Enough Manny vs Floyd. Shit! That fight is never happening. And him talking shit about Manny is irrelevant! If Mayweather does not fight Canelo, then he ain't shit! Not Manny or Marquez, or anybody else. He needs to prove to the boxing world that he is more than a safe prize fighter. But I bet his pride and money won't allow that.

BDR isn't saying it was luck.
No, the KO punch was a poor man's version of Mayweather's signature punch, the Pull Counter. It just wasn't as stylistically pleasing as when Mayweather does it.
He landed on the chin 40 seconds prior to the KO. It just wasn't as flush. It was just off the mark of where you're punching through your opponent.

Paq got beat by Bradley, I would pay to see Floyd fight one of these guys. Bradley is a great fight for Floyd since he did beat Paq
Pac didn't get careless; he got reckless, because that's the way he fights all the time. What Roger Mayweather cals "throwin' all that wild shit." Him getting KO'd was not an aberration or anomaly. Both Marquez and Pac were fighting their style--Pac reckless offense, Marquez aggressive defense--when Pac got laid out like a new born fuckin' baby. lol There's no reason to surmise he would have gone on to win, considering he'd been knocked down previous to getting KO'd and Marquez had come back from worse damage against him in previous matches. You can't count out a man who came back from getting knocked down 3 times in the first rounds and went on to fight to a controversial draw. Marquez simply has Pac's number. He finally punched it.
Pac got careless and overconfident. It was clear to see that Marquez was setting him up but he went forward anyway. Had he let off and regrouped. He may went on an won.

For a second I was likeIf you watched 24/7 not only was Marquez up at 5 am working out he was doing two-a-days WEEKS before Pacquiao got serious in the ring. Also when they trained they said "no cameras." They clearly had a strategy. I never underestimate a motherfucker that wants revenge. Like Pac said, "Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting pussy."
Marquez and Nacho wanted it more and the prepared like it.
For a second I was like"Manny said that shit?!" Then I remembered... 2Pac. lol
1st off who has Canelo beaten to even deserve a Money shot.
Mayweather will move left to right and take pot shots at that fool ala Diego Carrales. May even get the KO.

But, if it does happen, and there is a small chance, a true boxer will make Canelo look silly. Even Oscar says its way to soon for Canelo. Sometimes I wonder if niggas really know what they watching.
