Mayo traded to Memphis for Kevin Love handles

This guys career is over.

OJ Mayo, we hardly knew ya!

Smart move by Sota. They are actually building a team and were able to dump bum azz Antoine Walker and Jaric overpaid azz .

Note to OJ: stay away from South Memphis, esp, Orange Mound. If you pick up a girl from the club, take her to a hotel not back to your house.

ewww... antione walker? wtf@ any team picking him up...

yo dude was nice wit boston...then his fuckin game jus dissapeared...

that grizzlies spot at the small forward shooting guard and point guard is gonna b fun to watch

Gay, Mayo, Conley & Crittenton

I don't see why people are complaining, it's a great move for both teams.. There's still free agency. The Grizz have a nice core on the come up.

Mayo is ricky davis part two...good move by McHale for dumping all those shitty contracts/players
and getting back a sharpshooter like Mike Miller
and maybe Love can clean up Jefferson's misses and just be a pest in the middle..

Ya'll don't understand the trade. It was a smart move on Minnesota and I saw it before they even picked. It was a bluff move to get MIA to trade Beasley. Minnesota not only gets the guy they want but free up major cap room for the big free agent list next off-season. They are building for the future, and doing it smart.

I gotta disagree. When you have one of the worst Gms in the history
of the NBA combined with the fact your team is in a small market.......
this move doesn't make sense from that standpoint. Do you see Kevin
Love becoming the type of player to put up All-star numbers??? Basketball
wise this move makes no sense. You have a huge liability up front and two guys in Jefferson and Love that play the same position. If you're going to
trade mayo at least trade him for the same value. I sorry but Love cannot be = to Mayo :smh::smh:

This trade is a good look for Memphis. I do not like Kevin Love's game and think that he will be a role player at best in the NBA. O.J. Mayo along with Rudy Gay and Mike Conley can make for a nice mix on the perimeter.

Another dumb ass trade by Kevin McHale!

McHale may be the worst GM in the history of sports when you add up all of his mistakes.

Dumb trade.

The same could be said about Mayo. He is use to the big city, who is to say he wouldn't demand a trade? Who knows if he will be a bust or star? Also, why even keep him when they already have combo guards that are proven? They don't need to overload on guards and went with Love who will take the PF spot while Jefferson takes Center and hopefully bulks up.

Also you claim to trade for value. I agree, because I wanted them to hold out and see if they could work a deal for Beasley. I am not a fan of the Wolves but I hope they make the right choice because Love seems like he could be another Dirk but a bit faster.

Edit: Also for the people that don't or won't get the Dirk/Love thing. I mean he has the skills to be great but neither doesn't know how to reach that next level and/or is on the soft side and is not a metal beast on the court.

I don't understand how OJ Mayo is even in the fuckin league.
I predict BUST.

That trade looks real nice for Minnesota. Mike Miller can ball and Cardinal is a hustler.

This Is Most Def A Come Up For Memphis...THEY WILL BE FUN TO WATCH..RUN N GUN

Timberwolves....:hmm::hmm::smh::lol:

GOOD FOR..MAYO TOO...RATHER BE IN MEMPHIS THAN MINNESOTA

Memphis also traded the rights to Syracuse forward Donte Greene, the No. 28 pick, in exchange for the rights to Darrell Arthur, who was picked 27th and traded three times. New Orleans dealt his rights to Portland, which then traded him to Houston. The Rockets then traded his rights to Memphis early Friday morning.

From the big city. Mayo is from West Virginia. There are any big cities in West Virginia. BTW, neither McCants or Foye are proven. Talented, but not proven. 2 years ago they traded away the rights to Brandon Roy and now they did it again. I like Miller and Love but where is Love gonna play. He's not a center and with Jefferson in Minnesota the PF slot isn't open.
