Matt Lauer You're....FIRED!!!

Lauer had a button installed under his desk that allowed him to lock his office door.

"It allowed him to welcome female employees and initiate inappropriate contact while knowing nobody could walk in on him," two women say.

DAMN LAUER WAS A SUPERVILLAIN !?!
:hellyea::hellyea::hellyea:

times article said it was installed in high level employee offices for "security reasons"

He made that comment about Meredith bending over while the camera was rolling. He was bold cause he knew the network allowed him to get away with it. Whoever was in his ear should of been cursing him out and telling him to get off the set we need to talk. But no they allow it and down the road now its a problem For 25 mil you are overpaid and replaceable. Get a young person in there for 5 mil and you would never know after a month.

Once you go to a mans office and they lock the door. That is your time to be out, yell, scream kick bite. Its an office someone will hear you. What news story that you need to discuss that cant be worked out with the door open. This is not classified information or a rival network, no one is stealing your story.

Some of these stories make me think something was promised then she didn't get it and now its sexual assault.

There is no question that this sort of thing goes on. Hell, I have pointed it out myself over the years. Right now, a lot of the right people are going down; the obvious ones. People that have been known for this kind of shit. Weinstein, for example, is an obvious one. My problem is the methodology and blind assumption of truth on the part of the victims. To put it simply, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT ALL WOMEN TELL THE TRUTH. I don't believe that all of the "victims" are telling the truth, either. Who is vetting them and how so? There should be accountability for lying and consequences but in this current culture climate, anyone who doesn't believe every word that every woman says about harassment is victim-blaming. That's a load of bullshit. All possibilities have to be examined, including the possibility that the so-called victims are looking for a payday or a fame come up. There's no whore like a media whore. Male or female.
I know that women do actually get sexually harassed in the workplace. But do you fire the person or are there other roads of discipline? Why is sexual harassment the worst possible thing with the most severe consequences? I've seen women get hit on by guys in the workplace and forget that it happened within minutes. We are led to believe that this is impacting and lasting on women in such a way that they should be compensated in the form of lawsuit money or destruction of careers when I have seen women blow off a pass from a guy like its nothing and be completely unaffected by it. Its not always traumatizing. Its not rape. A lot of women use their sexuality as a come up in the workplace as well.
Also, these gang accusations that are happening lately will surely create difficult and tense work environments. What do you do when you find out that some are lying? What accountability do you hold them to and what consequences occur? Right now, a lot of women get off scott-free. Even false rape accusers get off free after sending men to jail for years. Why? These courses of actions, if left unchecked will bring about a new era of sumptuary laws where niggas have to avert their eyes when a chick walks by or else they will be fined and taxed..or worse. Before that happens, I will leave this bitch ass U.S. My passport is always up-to-date. Feminism is fucking up the country and to be honest, y'all (women) need to be checked for your actions a lot more often than you currently are. Some women are victims of sexual harassment. Some women plan on using temptation as a career come up. (see: Superhead) The fall back becomes to cry harassment when shit doesn't go their way. The difference between me and some of the other dudes on BGOL is I'm not afraid to call it out, whereas some guys will pander to female members because somehow they believe that they are accumulating pussy points.
I'm just saying that dudes should be on constant look out and watch their words and have a back up plan in case they end up in a position where some chick decides she wants a position and ruins a guy's career and maybe even his life. Victimhood is power and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Oh, and a woman's game has never been to whip out her tits or some other overtly sexual shit like that. A woman's game is usually a lot more subtle: flirtations with the boss for example. Touching him, not sexually but smiling and playing with him. Conning co-workers into doing the work for them, etc. Even being generally permissive to slightly inappropriate behavior. Subtle shit. There has to be a complete re-examination and of inappropriate behavior and concrete lines drawn in the consequences. There is too much room for manipulation in trying to define a "safe space" in the workplace. If someone steps on your foot, you don't get to shoot them in the head. Why should every instance of inappropriate behavior end in the man being fired, especially when some of those times, the woman has a hand in it as well? Men don't even see it coming. The shit we are seeing now is just the missile test. The bombs have yet to go off.

The conversation no one wants to have.

Russell Simmons steps down after sexual assault allegation
by Chloe Melas @CNNMoney November 30, 2017: 10:44 AM ET

Russell Simmons is stepping down from his companies in the wake of an accusation of harassment and sexual assault.
Simmons, the founder of hip-hop music label Def Jam Recordings and CEO of Rush Communications, released a statement on Thursday after screenwriter Jenny Lumet accused him of forcing her to have sex with him in 1991. She detailed the encounter in a guest column published by The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday.

"I have been informed with great anguish of Jenny Lumet's recollection about our night together in 1991," Simmons said in a statement. "I know Jenny and her family and have seen her several times over the years since the evening she described. While her memory of that evening is very different from mine, it is now clear to me that her feelings of fear and intimidation are real. While I have never been violent, I have been thoughtless and insensitive in some of my relationships over many decades and I sincerely and humbly apologize."

The statement continued: "This is a time of great transition. The voices of the voiceless, those who have been hurt or shamed, deserve and need to be heard. As the corridors of power inevitably make way for a new generation, I don't want to be a distraction so I am removing myself from the businesses that I founded. The companies will now be run by a new and diverse generation of extraordinary executives who are moving the culture and consciousness forward. I will convert the studio for yogic science into a not-for-profit center of learning and healing. As for me, I will step aside and commit myself to continuing my personal growth, spiritual learning and above all to listening."

On November 19, the Los Angeles Times published a report that detailed allegations of sexual misconduct made against director Brett Ratner and Simmons. A woman quoted in the story said Ratner and Simmons, 60, were "in it together."

Ratner and Simmons denied the allegations, with Simmons adding that, "abusing women in any way shape or form violates the very core of my being."

CNN has reached out to Simmons' representatives for comment.

Ousted Today host Matt Lauer had multiple extramarital affairs, sources allege to PEOPLE.

In the wake of Lauer’s termination over allegations of “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace, several insiders tell PEOPLE that the veteran morning host was allegedly often unfaithful to his wife of 19 years, Annette Roque. Lauer’s reps are not commenting.

“He regularly cheated on his wife,” one source claims. “Everyone knew. His wife lives in the Hamptons and he lives in the city, but we never heard he made unwanted moves.”

A former Today staffer echoes the first source’s claims, telling PEOPLE, “Everyone on staff knew he cheated regularly on his wife.”

“That wasn’t a secret, but sexual [misconduct] is a shock,” adds the former Today staff member. “He was friendly and approachable with everyone, and was very well-liked.”

Additionally, a source with knowledge of some aspects of the situation tells PEOPLE that “there was most definitely more than one” affair and alleges that “they were never with anyone whom [Lauer] didn’t have significant seniority over.”

Still, the third source adds, “He wasn’t a lech and he wasn’t known as someone who would corner you or retaliate against you if you spurned him or someone who would lure you into his dressing room.”

On Wednesday morning, Savannah Guthrie, Lauer’s Today co-anchor, announced his firing by reading a statement from Andrew Lack, chairman of NBC News.

“On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company’s standards. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment,” Lack said in the statement. “While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over twenty years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”

A source told PEOPLE that Lauer was fired after alleged inappropriate sexual behavior throughout 2014, including at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, came to light when an NBC staffer filed a complaint on Monday.

Lauer and Roque’s relationship has faced scrutiny in the public eye before. The model briefly filed for divorce in 2006, and in 2010, the couple refuted reports that they had split and Lauer had moved out of the family’s apartment, calling the claims “a work of fiction.”

Lauer told PEOPLE in an interview at the time that there had been difficulties in their marriage, saying, “Have we had a completely perfect, easy marriage? No.”

“But the stories you’ve read over the years are not true,” Lauer said, adding, “The accusations [of infidelity] are ridiculous and I’m not going to [dignify] them with an answer. It’s not true.”

The people he worked with knew he cheat but did she know that he “Often Cheated”?

If she files for divorce in the next couple of months, then We’ll have to believe that she didn’t know.

My point is Matt paying for pussy or finessing random pussy outside of his work environment will not get him fired for sexual harassment from his 25 million job.

This ain't no tech gig . Matt's former demographic wouldn't have been receptive toward a younger cohost. This is a morning news general variety type spot.

I remember it differently is the politically correct and slander proof way of saying the person is lying...

I've witnessed too many instances of regret morphing into rape - More important than passing on game I recommend discretion and respecting one's dick from a young age - not all pussy is good pussy

Rus has witnesses to refute his first accuser - so I'm curious to read the story this new chick has and see how he deals with it

Ok. For his sake, let's hope that's true.
