Ive seen a few people ask how to make money with file hosting companies. The answer is real simple. UPLOAD. Most of these companies pay you per 1000 downloads. Right now with Depositfiles I'm eanring about $6.20 per 1000 downloads. That doesnt mean 1000 downloads per 1 file, thats 1000 downloads for ALL your uploads. I better example is, lets say I uploaded 10 files. and 100 people download all 10 files once, well I just earned $6.20. Now the more you upload, the higher "tariff" you get. I earn $6.20 on my personal account but on our Albumhunt account, we earn like $20 per 1000 downloads. With depositfiles as well as a few others out there you can earn money as well as longer premium accounts. Depositfiles is coo because i paid for my account once is the last year or so and that was just to sign up. Since then I have continued with my "Gold" status just by uploading. No need to convert points or any of that bullshit, they just keep your Gold status going.
Megaupload pays per 1000 but I dont think they have a tariff to where you can earn more. I think they just pay one flat out fee. Megaupload has a a point system is which you redeem points for money and membership. I havenet paid for a megaupload account in at least 3 years but have maintained my premium membership. I've cashed in 100000 reward points:
One year premium + $100 USD 4 separate times. I just started using fileserve and hotfile to upload to so Im sure it'll pay off. Ive only started uploading for a week or so and only have like 8 files on both sites and have earned close to $10.
Ok so now that you know the potential is there, how do you start making the money? Well some may look at this as self promotion but fuck it, im just being real and yall will see the outcome. Right now Albumhunt.com is a pretty decent website to grab music. A lot of people visit to get there daily music dose. Well we have an "Auto Uploader" on there which submits content to either Depositfiles or Hotfile (you choose your host). It allows you to enter in you login info to albumhunt.com and mediahunt.org as well as whatever hosting company you prefer. You you do is just queue up media and the uploader will automatically .rar the files up, upload them to your hosting company and then submit the content to BOTH albumhunt and mediahunt. What I do is queue up about 100+ albums, hit "Start" and then go about my business while the uploader does everything for me. Next thing I know all my files have been submitted and getting downloaded. With mediahunt.org, you can queue up movies, games, etc. The uploader will automatically break large files down into 200mb .rar files, upload it files and submit all .rar files to mediahunt ( albumhunt only does albums ).
Next thing you can do is what I do, not only do I use our uploader. I go to large sites and submit content. Now once your on these large sites, create like 2-3 accounts. once your thread slips back a couple pages, bump it up with a "Thanks, props, good lookin, etc. " from one of your other accounts. See, I have an automated program for that as well but thats not what the program is mainly used for but thats one of the uses i get out of it.
Next thing is make sure that you threads are properly tagged. Maining make sure that you spell the same correctly, if its a grouprip then include their name in the title, etc. You'd be surprised how many people out here ONLY want Grouprip shit. If your thread titles are done correctly then its easier for google or any search engine to crawl for your search results. 90% of whats downloaded albumhunt is due to searches.
I know this sounds like a lot but its really not. I dont live off this income but its a nice little something just to get for doing shit on ur downtime. I work as a psychiatric tech 5 days a week and run a few sites. All this probably takes 30 mins out my day.
