Magna Carta HOLY GRAIL is FIRE!!!!

First off JayZ and Kanye have both been on some black revolutionary , black radical political shit since WTT its in damn near all their music. WTT is just a big fuck you to the establishment and white people in general. The Magna Carta was the first document ever signed that gave the people rights. The King of England was forced by the people to sign it in 1215 it limited the kings power and protected the peoples rights. This is the theme of the album he is telling us we the people need to force the new establishment to give us our rights.

FUTW: this my favorite track on the album and it embodies the theme. Fuck up this world means revolt, tear the system apart. Fuck up this world they created for us and the boundaries. He starts off the track saying "Genius" "don't be good my nigga be great" this a a clear nod to Kanye who is often referred to as genius who also has the GOOD music label. But he is also talking to us don't settle, don't be good my niggas be great!! . . . I've from the bottom i know you can relate

America tried to emasculate the greats
Murder Malcolm, gave Cassius the shakes
Wait, tell them rumble young man rumble
Try to dim your lights tell you be humble

Shine my niggas!!

Teacher teacher, I trying to unteach ya
All the shit they taught y'all, they got you all in the bleachers

We all know a lot of the shit they taught us in school was bullshit. It was taught to make us worker bees. This is also a reference to the slave mentality, we need to read and become self educated.

Fuck up this World!!!

Heaven: this is the deepest most controversial track on the album because it deals with his views on religion and him calling himself "God"
he starts the track off with a clear nod to the 5percenters

Arm, leg, leg, arm, head - this is God body. Which means ALLAH

Knowledge, wisdom, freedom, understanding - we just want our equality
Food, clothing, shelter - help a nigga find some peace
Happiness for a gangsta, ain't no love in the streets

Question religion, question it all
Question existence until them questions are solved

Have mercy on a Judas, angels wings on a 'ghini. this is the hardest line of the album
Lamborghini Mercy

Y'all religion creates division
Like my Maybach partition

Oceans: if you don't see the symbolism in this track :smh:

Crown:"Fear is your only god, get you out of your fear is my only job"

Nickels and Dime:Leave the door open hoping they kick it down. he's not bragging he wants us all to come get it too. He makes a reference to it in Murder to Excellence(which I think is the hardest track on WTT) "what up Will, shot out to O, that aint enough we need a million more" he is telling us we need to get this money cause power is in numbers but we don't have enough numbers so we all need to get this money so we can create a nation inside a nation.

Picasso: he kinda bragging but I take it more as he wants his art to be respected and revered as though it was a piece of fine art

Fuckwitmeyouknowigot: this is just a fuck you to the elite. Not bad for a Mulliano,

Somewhereinamerica: another fuck you to the elites

Shout out to old Jews and old rules
New blacks with new stacks

New money, they looking down on me
Blue bloods they trying to clown on me
You can turn up your nose high society
Never gone turn down the homie
Knock knock I'm at your neighbor house
Straight cash I bought ya neighbor out
You should come to the housewarming
Come and see what your new neighbor 'bout
Yellow Lambo in the driveway

This is black evolution black revolution music. We moving into an age where we are middle class and we are expecting are kids to attain even more than we did. Most of our kids will never know what its like to "want" but a lot of us still are struggling. The racism don't stop when you "make it" thats what this album is about.

"We have yet to see a ceiling, we just top what we top
Cause the bars don't struggle and the struggle don't stop"

Great synopsis brother! It's amazing that Jay-Z and Kanye have put out black pride/black power music these last few years. Aside from Jay's and Ye's mainstream success, somehow the masses haven't caught on with their "new" message.

Man egatsby, your breakdown of this album is going to make me give it another listen.....

I'm also going to share it with a friend of mine who's a big jay z fan and has found new interest in this CD.
