Beat him to a championship and all those years when Larry bird was in his head, new york and detroit were man handling him magic was busy beating them as well. Yes MJ is the greatest one on one player but magic is the greatest basketball player!

So given his physical attributes and that desire to win, a team a jordans would be unstoppable...

Magic is humble. Jordan is not. If we are going to judge the way some folks on here want to Judge. Then yes Kobe is better than Jordan since one one one he would eat Jordan Alive, also Iverson since we saw what happened the last time Jordan tried to guard him. :rolleyes:

Basketball is team sport. Unlike tennis or golf, it is hard to state for a fact that someone is the GOAT.

If basketball was a one-on-one sport I would have to state unequivocally that Jordan is the GOAT. But it's not.
 
I never loved Jordan, but always respected his game.

If you noticed throughout his career, he was always very carefully handled and crafted by his PR and Media team. I didn't know why...

Until he came to D.C. for the Wizards and I got to meet him a number of times with the cameras "off" ... and I was surprised.

He was a GRADE-A arrogant asshole.

I think now that the mystique is gone, people are beginning to see he's a bit of prick.

Converselely, I got to meet Magic 2x when he opened the Starbuck in Hyattsville across from the PG Plaza Mall.

The dude was 100% real and couldn't be more cool and gracious.

Magic's will to win and his incredible basketball I.Q. was insatiable. He never had the physical attributes of running fast or jumping high, but he used what he got with his I.Q. and still won a lot of games and championships. Now if Jordan was on another team built with many talents like Magic had, then how many records would he really have??? If he didn't actually have to do things by himself, how many shots would he have taken a game to get all the points he did???? How long did it take Jordan to win a ring and how long did it take Magic? If anything Phil Jackson is the G.O.A.T. Look how many rings he has won... HMMMMMMMM!!!

Both of those cats were known to be Kings of shit-talking on the court..brutal...Jordan never seemed like the type of cat you would want to have a beer with.... I'm not surprised... He's definitely no Bill Russell in that regard..
