Enjoyed the series finale (2 hours - Sun, Oct. 6th). Good acting in the 1st hour from the cat playing Frank Agnew ... cat was having a breakdown ... paranoia & irrational thinking, etc.
that was probably one of the most well acted scenes of 2013.. his whole scene with his ex wife.. and the range of emotions.. from trying to recapture the love.. to trying to get one last piece of love... to just saying fuck it and giving up almost killing himself.. to her acting like she didn't give a fuck until that point and the love came back... shit when she said she didn't want to have kids with him.. and the ending of love you between both of them?
^^^
i had to rewind the whole scene and watch it again right then...
I was stunned.
that rivaled one of the greatest sequences in film history...Ray Liotta in Goodfellas.
Like I said before you can see & feel the passion and hard work with everyone involved but I don't think it connected with the audience.
This would have been a perfect mini-series...damn a great MOVIE.
The power in the last few episodes...
This is just like the Bridge in some ways it kinda meandered and seemed to lose its footing in the middle but then the PAY OFF...
I don't know if shows can do that in the current climate.
EVERYBODY thinks they are a master director, writer, producer cinematographer now...
so hyper-critical that a show isn't allowed to breathe grow and develop.
(read how so many people are NOW bashing Breaking Bad and claiming they were 'disappointed' with the ending)
If LWS didn't come back I wouldn't be devastated because I feel like they told their story but damn...how in the hell would they follow this up?
THAT I would want to see.
i never got around to watching this show
think it got canceled
is it still worth watching ?

yeah the show started too slow.. lost a lot of people...It took awhile to find itself but those last few episodes were
which this team could get together again and try again.
