I finished up the new season last night on the road on Paramount+.
Taylor Sheridan went ‘Sicario’ with this season.
It picked up soon after the events of season 3 finale with Kyle shooting Robert. Kyle is charged and goes to prison in Kingstown. His time in prison gets to his head after dealing with Callahan.
Edie Falco made a good debut as the new warden.
Frank Moses from Detroit, makes a good debut showing how ruthless he is. His character has taken crime too a higher level and not focusing on low level shit like Bunny. He does a good job educating Bunny to step up his game. Good chance Frank wil get released on a technicality and get his revenge on Kingstown.
That Cartel mofo has ‘9 Lives’ with his ability to get out of shit. He will definitely come back with a Army next season.
Ian showed how corrupt his Ass really is going all out to protect himself from ADA Evelyn.
Taylor caught me off guard as usual with a bunch of killings of characters you would think would make it too the last scene of the series finale.
I watched the opening credits this season to see any changes after a number of characters got taken out last season. I normally skip it and this time I just noticed that the actor who plays ‘Detective Ian’ is a co-creator and writer for this series. I’ve gone this far and never realized it.
Overall, I was impressed with this season. Lots of suspense keeping my eyes glued to the screen waiting for what’s next.
Looking forward to the final season.

I'm glad I got more people interested in this show when I made this thread.
I was hoping for more than 5 seasons but he way they were killing off these characters so soon is when I realized this show wasn't gonna last long.
I just hope the final season will be good and I can 't wait to see what happens next!
Yeah, the series has played out better than I expected.
The final season is gonna have a lot of surprises watching who is gonna survive.
Every surviving character from season one has a mark on their head.
• Mike is the big unknown if he will survive and finally get out of Kingstown
• Detective Ian, he is high on the list to get whacked…the question is by who?
• Detective Stevie, he is corrupt like Ian, good chance he might get whacked by Ian if he threatens to snitch.
• Bunny is a unknown, it’s possible the cartel will take him out or one of his henchmen who has been operating on the DL all this time. Or Frank will get him.
• Kyle is a unknown being he may be targeted by the Brotherhood…or he might become the new leader.
• Warden Hobbs with her connection to the cartel has a slim chance of surviving.
• ADA Evelyn might get whacked by Ian if she comes up with new evidence against him.
• CO Cindy I think might get whacked because of her Fucking Mike. Hopefully she makes it out alive with her kids.
• Frank Moses will get out and get revenge against Mike and Bunny.
• Rebecca might get whacked by the Cartel blowing up Mike’s office with her in it.
• Raphael will get taken out in prison.
• That crazy Cartel mofo definitely is gonna get whacked by someone.
5 seasons seems to be the norm with Paramount+. Let the series end on a high and leave it open for spinoffs.
I think they learned from other networks mistakes to end series before they get burned out like what happened with ‘The Walking Dead’.
Damn, I read all this and was like WOW because your predictions could be right on the money.
I hope the writers aren't spying on BGOL seeing what you typed that they would add some tweaks to the story line that would surprise people going against their predictions.
I remembered when everyone was predicting the ending of snowfall thinking franklin was gonna get killed that they changed it to having him being poor losing it all looking like a bum homeless man.

but overall? While i love this show? It was too predictable. WAY TOO MUCH.
the final scene was so anticlimactic. they tortured the shooter MORE than the man who killed the mother of Kyle child?
one shot in the kneecap? Nah.
the MINUTE the brother Mike smiled we ALL knew he was dead.
I thought the murder of the wife was unnecessary even if its the final season.
The thing with Frank was basic. Don't WASTE Lenny James (who was basically just playing the same character from Low winter sun)
They REALLY could give Raphael MORE. I can see all the weariness in his eyes.
Finally have the Captain act right.
The thing with Bunny and Frank felt rushed. John Wick Sicario was fun but a little absurd.
Ian aka the Grim Reaper...gawd damn it man.
Edie Falco was/is excellent.

I really enjoy this show and I KNOW I shouldn't be thinking THIS hard.
So I don't but this was NOT my favorite season. But as always I enjoyed the hell out of it so mission accomplished.

I don't follow these characters like that to know they're on other shows. There's already too many shows to watch already.
I'm still trying to catch up on shows I haven't finished watching.
But I'll check out that show you've recommended because i always like a good show to watch.

Bruh Spider Noir was shot so damn well, the colors popped in 4k, but even the black an white still looked good
