its the same here in tn, if you are around the child enough and the actual father is no where to be found, guess what you legally have to pay child support. even in marriage, if your wife cheats on you and gets pregnant with another man's child, guess who pays that child support. it wont be changed or reformed, i had a lawyer tell me that the states make more money off of child support than anything else.i would honestly like to see a candidate for POTUS address this issue

even if you are not the child's biological father, if you establish a relationship with him, you legally have to pay child support
if the dna test comes back that the child is not yours and they can't find the real father you stuck with that child
there is no penalty for the mother for falsely accusing you of being the father

My daughter has 2 of them! 1 was ordered to pay......get this.........$50 a month (2 kids) for which he has paid zero. Is so far $13k in arrears. No threat of jail.
