The taxes on $100M is going to run over $30M. So, I would owe the IRS $10M. I could win $10M and keep about $6M after the IRS gets theirs. That's a $16M difference. Nothing petty about the answer of $10M.
Or, I would have to trust that my ex would do right by me after giving her $65M.

I'd have no problem with getting 20 and her getting 80. Having replicated ourselves in the creation of our priceless beautiful children. That still seems like a relatively small amount of money to thank her with.
