Well consider that Durant and Melo both play a up tempo offense where they shoot 10 secs after with in the 24 sec shot, vs the fact that James plays a set half court offense where they often shoot 23 secs deep yet James is still leading the league in scoring, goes to show that not only is his statement true, but its humble of him to sacrifice numbers for the good of the system.
Magic Johnson never won a scoring title, but could have if he played under a different system and if it was his desire to score more.

There isnt really a stat you can dig up that shows who has the better skillset. Kobe, Melo and Durant have a better fundamental skillset than Bron. Thats all Ive ever siad, but Bron fans keep bringing up his FG% and PPG, how he almost avgs a triple double etc... In all the Cavs games Ive seen He gets the ball usually top of the key or left wing... Dribble... If the guy is playing off, shoot that very iffy J, if the guy is playin tight, bulldoze his way into the lane and get fouled, or ESPN dunk... Wash, rinse, repeat... Not saying it isnt effective, but its the same shit different game. I like to watch players whos game I can take something from. Melo, Paul Pierce, Larry Johnson back in the day with his post moves. Can he score? yes, that acounts for his PPG. Dunks and layups are 80% plus, which would account for his %. Hes the Cavs true PG... Assists. Hes 6'8'' and can jump out of the gym... Rebounds. He gets mainly offball blocks stop acting like Hes Mutombo. Wins... never said he wasnt a great player... Melo, Kobe, and Durant score in more ways, you cannot dispute that bruh...
