LeBron James was 'adamant' with Cavaliers GM: Do not trade Kyrie Irving, minutes later trade happen!

No, but it would've been a nice part of the negotiations to keep him, especially if they would've beat GS. Either way don't matter, name a good reason for trading Kyrie?
Kyrie saying he doesn't wanna play for the Cavs no more... star players run the league!! Not owners, not gms, but star players period. So LBJ saying this or that is irrelevant and frankly stupid.......

I kinda agree with Gilbert on this one.

LeBron was leaving anyway. DG set up his future moves while he had leverage. Kyrie was only valuable move he could control

Agree also....

I think Bron wanted to set those top records as a Laker. I could be completely wrong with those thoughts but who knows.

Yea the minute Lebron selected to return, I willing to bet Kyrie wanted to leave then.

Griff said dude wanted to leave after the title...think about it, dude called Kobe

Bron was outta of there. He wanted Kyrie to be his parting gift: re-up. Kyrie peeped game early, gone. Bron a slick dude.

Kyrie got caught in between the ego maniacs Gilbert and Bron. He basically was one of the people running around on the ground while Godzilla and Mothra going at it. He wanted out that toxic ass situation. Don't blame him one bit. Fuck Lebron and his holding teams hostage shit. And fuck Gilbert and his Jerry Jones-type behavior of having to be too hands on.

There was an article last year that basically said that Kyrie and Lebron communicate with each other through David Griffin...

The owner just need to sell the team because it's obvious he don't give a shit about the team. He's too worry about showing everyone that he can win without Lebron, instead of putting out a good product on the fucking court......:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

It was rumored that Kyrie didnt want LeBron to come back because he knew it wouldn't be his team....

It's crazy. Both Lebron and Gilbert have cost themselves rings with this dumb shit. I remember posting in the 2000s how Gilbert let Lebron run shit(cats was running security detail and knew the scoop) and it came back to bite him in the ass, so this second time was bitter as fuck between them. Nothing but a huge pissing contest.

Kyrie didn't want any part of Lebron's drama. Don't blame him one fucking bit. And then dealing with Gilbert who seemingly snapped because of Lebron. Gilbert just needs to spend bread on basketball people and fall back.

That will never happen.

:yes::yes::yes:

That will never happen.
If you remember, he was cool before that shit went down in 2010. He gave them a blank check. If we get pre-decision Gilbert back, shit would be great. Dude needs counseling.

Everyone in fucking town is now talking about how Dorsey changed the browns. They calling on Gilbert to get the fuck out the way like Dee Haslam just did(yeah, she was running shit). We'll know by the '19 draft. Haslams never got the fuck out the way. Gilbert at least as a pre-10 history.

Do you think Bron and Kyrie will regret years later not working out their problems to win more titles together like Kobe and Shaq..

The reason, why Hillbilly Jim hired Dorsey is because he finally realized him firing coaches and GMs every other year and being too hands on wasn't working...Until the owner gets a real basketball person in the office this team is doomed.

Yes and no, LeBron might, because he truly wanted to cement his legacy and have a high number of rings specifically 6 plus.

Kyrie on the other hand carried a piss poor product on the court for 2 or 3 seasons and was told this franchise was his only for that promise to be thrown out the window because Savanah told LeBron to get his ass back to Cleveland and out of Miami.

I truly believe if Kyrie and LbJ had the relationship they portrayed to the fans, they would've competed in 2017 together. Instead of Kyrie pretty much demanding to be traded under false pretenses...

Its really sad and depressing as a Cavs fan because the team won in 2016 and instead of Gilbert building upon that and making sure the umot got better, he seemed to take every opportunity to fuck it up.

Fired DG, let Koby leak the Kyrie trade, trade Kyrie for damn near nothing.... Etc...

This what pisses me off about the owner more than anything. He never tried to upgrade the talent after winning the title....He expected Lebron and Kyrie to win it again even after KD signed to the Warriors that summer.

We let go all the bench players that played some part on the win but never replaced them....You had Rondo,Drummond,Whiteside and a few others who were free agents that summer yet we didn't look at them at all.

As,for Kyrie, while I understand, why he should feel some kind of way he needed to learn to win like Lebron needed to win..

This is old news to those that already knew.

Kyrie was "the man" for 4 seasons in Cleveland. He dealt with bs ass teams and coaches, butbhe was the face and all roster decisions were going through him those last 2 seasons he was there.

Then word came that LBJ wanted to come back. Cool another star to share the limelight and load......

Nah, Bron was THE star. It was his limelight, his team now. Kyrie was relegated to lil bro status. He thought they were gonna be partners/ equals....

Those future plans were Bron was staying and the Cabs were gonna build around him, like they did before he left. Kyrie didn't like that....

He didn't feel respected and thought he needed to get from under Bron's shadow and back to "being the man" again. So he ran to Boston......but he forgot what that was like, when you're the #1 and your #2 is not a superstar.....the points become harder to make, the defenses focus more on you, the fans focus more on you......

Damn maybe there was something to that big 3 or bring another superstar to the team setup, hence the 3 headed Nets monster.......yet, again Kyrie is gonna Kyrie.....

@40:00

Kyrie breaking up the Cavs will forever be a stain on his career.

Dummy!

It's crazy that players who make it to the finals early in their career feel like ...." oh, I can easily do this again with another team." Then reality hits.

smh-oh-well.gif
