You do realize the deal is POTENTIALLY worth a billion right? Not guarantees money... Also, the dollar is different now, league income etc is different now so. Dollar now is worth less than it was 20 years ago. The difference is, Jordans billion is in pocket, LeBrons is incentive based and not a guarantee he sees that much.
Like I said earlier, I am happy for LeBron, possibly the best all around player Ive ever seen but the fact Jordan in his 50s is still the measuring stick, his name is still brought up regardless of any achievement LeBron mix, and the fact that in his fifties his sneakers still are the best sellers, and he still just sitting on his butt smoking cigars bringing in a hundred million plus a year, prove he's still the greatest! LeBron is doing his thing, I was the brother the greatest success ever, but the fact remains with all his accomplishments and that 31, which means his career is close to ending in a few years, he has a long way to go to ever catch Jordan, and he will never ever attain the cultural impact Jordan has! Would people need to do is let LeBron be LeBron, and let Jordan be Jordan!
