Lebron Exposed! Never Compare him to MJ again!

I keep hearing everbody saying that Lebron is the next Jordan and that Kobe might be the next Jordan. or that Lebron is never going to be as good as kobe and Jordan. or kobe is never going to be as good as jordan. but keep this in mind, the game of basketball keeps evolving. In the 70's u had players such as Dr. J who was supposed to be the greatest and people were saying that he was going to be the greatest. Then when Magic came on the scene people were saying he was going to be the greatest. then Jordan came and people are saying that he's going to be the greatest. when u look at the history of basketball there is always somebody who comes along and surpasses the so-called greatest. Like it or not somebody in this generation is going to be better than Jordan. whether is Lebron or Kobe or whoever. someone is going to surpass Jordan.

The difference is that those great players had weaknesses. Jordan didn't. He had a complete game on both sides of the ball. He was an assassin. He also had the personal & team accomplishments to go along with his game. He raised the bar too high.

What would a player have to do as far as personal & team accomplishments to surpass Jordan? While the others left room for improvement, he didn't. :smh:

exactly, unlike the Lake show, the Cavs rebound & play defense, when Kobe plays in big games against superior teams, you best bet he's going out guns blazing

I would go as far as to say that Jordan is the most complete athlete in the history of team sports. Like you said, he had no weakness in his game.. by the second title run...not only had he has every imaginable individual basketball achievement imaginable(even being defensive player of the year as a guard while leading the league in scoring in the same year which is just sick)... he elevated his game even more..improved his long range shooting, developed an unstoppable back to the basket game, etc. There has NEVER been another guard with a back to the basket post game nearly as good as Jordan...combine that with all his other skills...he was the true flawless player... add his basketball IQ and relentless competitiveness and will to win... none of these other guys mentioned are even close yet..not even remotely.

I dont think you can truly even appreciate him unless you have seen him live. I had season tickets to the Pistons from 85-95. I saw a fair share of basketball games.. and I've seen all other greats...and watching Jordan play...even when he was off the ball is like watching 2 games in one. TV does not even capture it. He tired players out even when he didn't have the ball in his hands.

Word. I thought it was also Ironic of all the teams he chose..he chose that Laker team that got absolutely manhandled and embarrassed by the Bulls in the Finals. That shit was worst than this Spurs vs Cavs series...

You ain't lying. It was only marquee because they could hype "Jordan VS Magic." They basically swept them after a two point loss in game one. If it weren't for kats like Grant being nervous in their first Finals, it would've been a real sweep.

Who was more fundamentally sound them Utah? For Jordan to change the complexion of that series in 41 seconds was ridiculous. I don't think i've ever seen them pushed to self-destruct in the last moments of a game as they did in game 6 in '98. The Bulls was supposed to have lost that game & should have been looking at game 7 with Pippen playing if at all with a fucked up back.

Driving layup with the quickness to save time

Defensive steal on Malone

Jump shot to win the game

You could not script that better. That is essentially a player saying "fuck that.. this series ends tonight"

but Jordan didnt come in the NBA with a complete game. when Jordan 1st came in the nba he was more of a slasher than anything. if anything Lebron is more well rounded than Jordan when he was in his 3rd NBA season. Jordan didnt come in the league knowing how 2 shoot that famous fade-away jumper, he had to develop that. just like he had to develop into a team leader. Jordan had a problem passing the ball and trusting his teammates just like Kobe. Jordan didnt come in the NBA without any weaknesses, but he had 2 develop into the great player that he was. just like Lebron and Kobe has 2.

100% Co-sign. He was the Bulls best post player & one of the best rebounding guards in the league. He had to help to make up for what the Bulls lacked in the post. Definitely the main reason why the Bulls didn't need a dominant center to win.

I haven't knocked Lebron, because I think he's ahead of where he should be at this point in his career.

My point is to ask you what would it take to surpass Jordan as the GOAT? What would that player's accomplishments look like? Both personal & team & what type of game would he more than likely have to have?

Edit: Also I was referring to The J & Magic as far as weaknesses, not Lebron.

LeWrong james been over rated since day 1 ever since he came to the NBA yall gave him the throne over KOBE? Now u were comparing him to JORDAN LeWrong needs a finesse game better jump shooting and foul shooting then u can compare him to KOBE right now hes the equivalent of Vince and Tracy!
6'8" 240 he suppose to do what he does at that size with his athleticism! but no way he's KING! :smh:

definatly over hyped, nigga look 2 pass 1st. more like prince james, & i was a big supporter, he cant even get his team 1 win, thats sad. and the refs obviously dont respect him, he gets no calls!!! not a primetime scorer @ all.

good players work hard to add to and improve their game. earvin johnson developed a perimeter shot and improved his FT%. so what?

not picking solely on you for this one, because A LOT of BGOL fam suffer from this logical fallcy.

simply because 2 or more players share SYMPTOMS that appear similar, it is NOT TRUE that they share the same causation for those SYMPTOMS. there is NO ASPECT of michael jordan's game that is/was "just like" tobe's.

someone please, please, please tell NIKE to STOP running that "we are witnesses" ad cause that shit looks SUPER-stooooopid right about now.

the only thing we witnessed was teyshaun prince running for his fucking life and the most convincing SWEEP of a team in league history.

the cavs had no answers for anything.

and tony parker = lucky mufucka right now:

mvp
increases market value with his play
another ring
gets to suck eva's pussy every night.
