Lol, yeah I don't really care about the 8.1 release. For the stuff I'm doing, 8 is good enough. After I really studied the releases, I realized there was no reason to go beyond 8. They're releasing some nice stuff for 8.1, but it usually includes an 8 version. I think 8.1 is about realism, more realistic facial features?

As far as prices, I would start with $60 a render. Some say $50, but I say $50. But the higher your IG following, the more you charge. As a business investment, you could run a $5 a day campaign on IG (Facebook ads) and steadily build a following. If you were able to build 5-10K followers in a year, I would bump it up to $100. 20K followers? $200-300. 50K followers? $500 100K followers? $1000. If you get any major credits (awards, major corporate work, etc) then bump the price more. This is just a general guideline, because the more demand you have, the more you can charge. It's just that the "look" of having a lot of fans and likes encourages people to buy your brand because once you appear to be somebody important, it's monkey see monkey do.

Yeah people are hittin me up lately. I'm not gonna advertise doin commissions because I don't have free time like that. But I might do this job for a guy wants 5 images. I told him I charge 100 a image but I'll give him a deal on 5. Really thought he would say no but he said yeah so I said 75 each then and I would start after receiving deposit. See how it goes...

Yoooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Yeah that's dope. Inspiring!! How long did this take you to put together??

I would say just doin them panels the rendering took the most time. Started a couple weeks back with the idea and then watchgawdz hit me up so just finished up yesterday. If I had all day to just work on shit I could do that in a day or 2.

Some of this shit in Daz tho....wtf is up wit this headlamp shit on the camera? Dumb ass shit. THen you turn off the headlamp and the screen is black.lol I wanna do a webseries but I need to get ahead on things. I'm gonna be practicin with this and that Perspectives joint until I find the look and format I'm gonna stick wit.

Lol, yeah the headlamp is a default light that can be adjusted on the XY planes, but you can't adjust it on the Z plane. When you add a distance light or spot light, the headlamp is turned off and that's when you get into real world lighting where you can do all the professional lighting setups like in a photography studio or movie set.

I like playing with the lights in DAZ because I can actually practice real world cinematic techniques. If you youtube cinematic lighting, you get a lot videos from pros on getting movie lighting. But even better you can get lighting packs with presets flr certain vibes.

Yeah I use presets man. Render Pro, Dreamlight, etc. For this I used one from Render Pro 2 and then used the Iray Plane Node to knock out the ceiling. Starting to get the hang of the basics in Daz. I can make my own billboards now too so crowd scenes gonna be tight. I need to learn about surfaces, changing skin tone, making tattoos and shit.

Just started fuckin wit Face Transfer but there's no need for me to buy the shit. One click make a face and use my own texture to get rid of that dumbass watermark. NONE of the textures it generates are worth a damn. Same reddish tone for EVERY black person.lol

Yeah surfaces are simple once you get familar with it. It's basically like photoshop layers for each section of the body or object. As far as tattoos, I load up a preset and then find the image files in the pack for the preset. Then I go in photoshop and make my own using the preset as a guide. Then you use the Layered Image Editor in DAZ to replace the preset files. It's very much like using photoshop.
