I HATE to say this, because I've kind of been on a high the past few days seeing so many of my people coming together...

...HOWEVER, this is a LAUGHABLE idea, and it's laughable because I don't feel a lot people realize how many levels deep the white power structure is.

Everything you would need to make this the success it would need to be to even make doing it worthwhile, is dependent upon white people.

The sponsors?

The television networks?

The land for the stadiums?

The MONEY for the stadium(s)?

They COULD do it for the sake of independence and black solidarity, but they'd make CONSIDERABLY less money. CONSIDERABLY less. They would ALIENATE their white fan-base, who just so happens to be .....

...nah, I don't think some people are thinking.

Those mega-salaries don't materialize out of thin air.

I don't think any of these dudes hate racists and white people that much.

Those are issues to be discussed..

as long as we do our shit in private..

behind closed doors..

without nobody knowing what, when or how..

If we announce our plans and shit to the world.

to they can easily be detoured....

Very good thread. I see the pros and cons of this. The power structure that a black owned league would come up against would be fair from easy... but interdependence is the key. However, integration ruined that a long time ago.
