Didn't see it however I being a Heat fan am glad to see Detroit lose.

Good win for the Lakers....I still think Kobe is bitch like and phony. He did his thing last night.

I guess since I'm a 'Kobe hater' (although I like the laker's team minus the MDP) I guess I'll bite. I think the MDP did a great job leading his team to a BIG victory over the Eastern Conference champion Detroit Pistons last night. Let's watch how the MDP had his blue print all over the game in helping lead his team to a pull away victory over Detroit...

Yeah, the MDP truly proved his worth to the team last night be leading them to that BIG run against the Pistons to pull away for the victory. Oh ooops, he was on the bench when they pulled away. Hopefully that will be the case more often

Even though Kobe Bryant had his usual offensive output, his supporting cast made the difference when it came to pulling out the victory.

Bryant scored 40 points and Lamar Odom added 24 with 10 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers ended a four-game losing streak against the Detroit Pistons with a 105-94 triumph.


One night after becoming the youngest player in league history to score 16,000 points, Bryant reached the 40-point mark for the 17th time this season. However, the Lakers rallied with a decisive second-half burst in which Bryant - the league's leading scorer - was held without a point.

"They backed me up shooting well tonight and gave a great effort," said Bryant, who was suffering from a sinus infection. said. "We got great play from Lamar, who really is a big key for us. When he comes out and plays that well, he really brings a lot of balance to our ballclub."
