L.A. Better than NYC?

i dont see why the fuck anyone would wanna live in NYC. and expensive ass concrete hell hole. where the fuck are the trees?!
L.A. has Sunshine, beautiful weather, weed, latinas for days. its expensive as fuck too but if i had to choose one over the other id choose NYC. i have no desire to go there.

did you say trees? nigga please there wouldnt be shit besides tumbleweeds and cactus in LA if all these trees and foliage werent brought in from elsewhere and planted. at least visit NYC before dissin and comparing it to another place, there are trees all over the place B. in LA where is the fuckin rain? where are the black people? i could go on.

sure theres weed everywhere, half of its unsmokeable for anybody with weed standards. Latinas is cool but when the majority of them are surenos that aint fuckin wit u if youre black anyway how does that benefit you? All that beautiful sun and weather is cute and all but w/o precipitation the air is all fucked up and im sure i dont have to explain to you how droughts work.

once my shit frees up, imma end up in the Bay if not back east or ATL again for good, yall can keep LA and continue to pretend how dope it is

LA vs NYC...hmmm

In my experience the only thing NYC got over L.A. is the amount of things to do. Don't get me wrong, there aren't many places in the US I can go to the beach in the morning, snowboarding in the early afternoon then mountain climbing or white water rafting all in the same day. But L.A. shuts down at 2:00 if you don't know nothing about the after hour spots. And don't get me started on public transportation

And I'm trying to leave NYC...AGAIN!!!

One of my customers (who was a Urban Planning Manager for NYC) and his wife are trying to get me to come out to Redondo Beach.

And a few of my former co-workers have been working on me to move to San Francisco.

I was in Los Angeles in '90.
Place just wasn't my thing.

I ended up in Portland, Oregon for 14 years instead.

Frisco is a mini Manhattan when it comes to home prices. The average 1 bedroom apartment will run you 3000 per month. I live in Oakland and the people priced out of frisco have moved over the bridge here. Now oakland is getting expensive unless you want to move into hood spots in west, north or east oakland. But uptown and downtown? 1 bedroom jawns are now 1800 and up per month.

New York is a wonderful place to visit, but Los Angeles is the more ideal place to be at for the bachelor life as well as finding a wifey.

In addition, it is the perfect place for people with a "hustle" mentality. Despite the cost of living, you can seriously make some money here.

Now, I will admit it isn't the best place to retire. But, provided you establish a piece of real estate during your working life here, you can live lavish by the time you're ready to milk your annuity else where.

Hell Naw i havnt been and dont have any desire to yall can have that expensive concrete jungle. i like to drive around in a fucking car, i dont wanna sit next to a fucking stranger every place i go. and on top of that it gets cold. im from illinois. i moved down south to get away from cold fucking weather. i couldnt deal with that shit in chicago and i definitely wouldnt deal with it in new york

LA or Miami is my next move. i need sunshine, warm weather, and bad bitches year round. im in the music industry. i think theres a reason why the largest city in the country has no artist really poppin in the music industry
