Kobe goin off tonight.....

It's nothing new. Lamar makes them a different team. You see what's happening now. I may bring Pau off the bench against certain teams. But Coach Jackson is stubborn with his line ups and minutes played.

Word.....

Ayo 21 in the 1st quarter was vintage... Amazing quarter... Too bad Pau and Bynum decided to let another rookie go off on them.... And Smh @ Phil.

When Kobe wins his 6th title this year, the Lake show will really need to consider retooling with younger talent. And also a less "bitcher" big like Gasol

Lakers = 2011 champs

Re: tobe goin off tonight.....

You know the spin is coming: Yeah Kobe went off; it was just that the front did not show up tonight, they're garbage. It is just too bad that the other Lakers do not have the will to win that our Saviour Kobe has...

who was guarding the kings' euro again?

No Kobe's just preparing for Boston, he meant to lose.:smh:

Re: tobe goin off tonight.....

Uh Kobe. Apparently blocking out wasn't part of Hakeem's training! Why wasn't Kobe on Evans? He is the best 1 on 1 defender in the league right?

i'm saying, i'm just asking. because as many people up in here wanted to throw stones at pau gasol for cousins/dalembert, they were curiously (or maybe not so curiously) absent when talking about that euro superstar the kings got. funny how many excuses come out in the wash for a loss at home to the worst team in the division.

Re: tobe goin off tonight.....

Based on wobe's Adj +/- numbers from basketball value, he's been the 2nd most detrimental player in the NBA this year.

I wonder what excuses the stans have for that. They'll probably say he's a top MVP candidate with that type of on-court influence.

:smh:

shhhh... most of BGOL thinks its GOOD basketball.

most of BGOL thinks the fakers would be down by more if tobe hadn't started chucking in Q1.

oh wait a minute. tobe used psychic powers to see the future that his teammates would be cold tonight, so he read the situation and figured out that his team needed him to take 11 FGAs in less than 1 quarter.

Kobe is the best player in the league....

He was busy getting his 6th ring fitted at only 32 yrs old

Greatest player to ever lace up a pair of Nikes

It's good to see that u'r now a diehard born again Kobe dickrider:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: U sure do flip flop like mofo

Yours Truly......Professor

You really are in idiot. Kobe has two more chances to pass the number 6 and 7 on the the scoring list to the person can check. I was pointing that out for the person who wanted to check the odds.

Kobe was fucking up in this game and his defense is horrific this year. You really are a stupid bitch :smh:

I was at the game last night.

Kobe was in attack mode, and had 21 in the 1st quarter:eek:

3 dunks too. Sucks their defense was suspect. Cousins and Sammy were killin the Lake show.

indeed.

since you were at the game last night, can you share your thoughts on how/why the kings front line was able to be so successful?

specifically, can you relate how they were able to get such open looks at the rim time and time again?

Well for 1 the Lakers were slow & sluggish on defensive rotation at time, which left Casspi & other shooters open.

Bynum can't defend the perimeter which is why Cousins was dropping buckets from 15 feet away. Lake show was also have problems stopping penetration to the basket.

very good.

cousins was also getting his in transition and on the open floor.

a stark contrast to the picture some of the box score reading stans were trying to paint.

since they don't actually watch games (or comprehend what is actually going on in live action), they were trying to sell a story about how pau gasol was getting used.

typical.

Nah Pau wasn't getting used last night. No way.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson on Pau Gasol's performance tonight:
Pau [Gasol] never really had opportunities that he normally has; high-post, low-post type of things.

Why did Pau not have the usual opportunities? Were they not running the offense as they were supposed to?

Passing Hakeem > Passing To Pau.

Phil need to shut the fuck up and know his role.

I know he doesn't want Kobe to throw a basketball at his fucked up foot again.

:)

Wasn't getting the ball.

I think Kobe took 85-90% of the shots in the first quarter.

Then Phil took him out in the 2nd and Kobe only played like 4 mins:confused:

you didn't get the BGOL script?

here's the revisionist talking points you missed:

  • pau gasol was soft and got bodied in the paint

  • pau gasol was cold in the first 35 seconds of the game and tobe knew pau gasol wasn't going to heat up for the next 3 quarters, so why pass him the ball again?

Passing Hakeem > Passing To Pau.
