The final shoe of Kobe Bryant’s professional career will be released right at tipoff of hisfinal game, which takes place Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
The Kobe 11 Mamba Day iD sneaker is all about significant numbers related to the retiring Lakers star. The graphic print includes eight important stats from his NBA career. There are the dates of his first and last games, five championships, four All-Star MVPs, 18 appearances in the All-Star game, 81 points scored in one game, 20 years in the NBA and a 24 for the jersey number he wore during the second half of his pro career.

The upper is done in black with gold numbers and a gold Nike Swoosh. Customers can also customize the tongue of the shoe to their liking.
The shoes are only available for a limited time beginning at tipoff of Bryant’s final game with the Los Angeles Lakers, set for 10:30 p.m. EST against the Utah Jazz.

The Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack has been releasing piece by piece over the last couple of weeks. The pack will conclude this week with the release of the Nike Kobe 11 on Wednesday, April 13th which is the day that Kobe Bryant will play in his final NBA game.
But Nike is doing something special for fans of the Black Mamba who may have missed out on picking up a certain pair from the massive Pack. On April 13th (Mamba Day)Nike will be releasing the entire Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack at the Nike Vault in Los Angeles which is located next to Staples Center. Here is how the launch will work according to Nike:
EVERYONE THAT REGISTERED FOR THE LAUNCH WILL BE ASKED TO COME TO THE NIKE VAULT ON APRIL 13, 2016 AT 11AM PST TO PICK-UP THEIR RAFFLE TICKET. ONLY ONE RAFFLE TICKET WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH REGISTRANT. EVERY INDIVIDUAL CAN ONLY REGISTER ONCE FOR THEMSELVES. AT 12PM PST THE RAFFLE WILL BEGIN. RAFFLE NUMBERS WILL BE DRAWN VIA RAFFLE BOX AND WINNING NUMBERS WILL BE CALLED OUT.

Great athletes of the past just did their thing in the final season, did a speech in the final game and were done with it.
None of this over-the-top stuff with Kobe and his stans.
Kobe Bryant is a hard either. I can't remember too many games where Kobe Bryant LED team lost a 15 or 20 point lead. Love him or hate him, he is one hell of a competitor. To play both ends of the Court takes energy that Kyrie or LeBron and most players in the NBA just won't do
