Knicks Making offers....

This is a new regime, we dont have isiah thomas or scott layden running the show anymore.
Walsh had a plan and that plan was to clear the decks and make trades to get under the
salary cap. He got rid of nutcases like stephon, nate, jerome james.. all mistakes
that isiah created. Eddy "edy's ice cream" curry will be gone. He got rid of Zach randolphs bloated contract when NOONE thought
it was possible.
Two years later the knicks have money to spend and this gives us hope.. whether its Amare, joe J, wade, james, parker. We just want SOMEbody competent.
We dont NEED lebron, we just want a competitive team and i think we will get it.

new Regime

The guy currently in the front office passed over Brook Lopez Eric Gordon and Brandon Jennings :lol:

That's still the same bullshit.

imagine if the knicks would have drafted lopez and brandon jennings???

Lebron wouldn't even have to think about his decision.

You can blame that all you want on Thomas but who still put him in power?

The Knicks weren't going for competitive their words. "Lebron or Bust"

:lol::lol:

As someone said. You think Philly regrets over paying for Elton Brand and Andre Iggy

How about the Pistons and Charlie V, Ben Gordon and Rip Hamilton????

Amare 5 years and all of them guaranteed???:lol:

:smh::smh:

Building through the draft is a crapshoot. We drafted Jordan Hill and used him
to rid ourselves of Jared Jeffries contract. Of course you can say oh we should've drafted
this player or that now. Look at OKC, imagine if they drafted Tyreke instead of Harden?? same deal. I dont know why ya hatin on Gallo, dude can shoot the shit out
the ball man and he only 21.

okay so u saying jennings is better than harris? cause the nets have lopez and harris, why is lebron still debating where to go if the decision was so easy??

I agree with a lot of things Creed said..

But.. George will always make sure The Yankees run New York,
I agree as well. I don't see anyone overtaking the Yankees not only in NY but nationwide as a favorite team. Yankees are baseball's version of the Cowboys: fans spread across the entire country but also the most hated team by non fans. Knicks are never going to overtake them in that regard & I'm a Knicks fan.

want me to list all the foreign players in the NBA that can and could shoot when they enter the league???

Peja came in the league how old with a cold ass shot?? hell he actually made it to an all star game.

You want me to talk about another player from Italy who numbers are better and people said he was going to be the next Dirk. how has career been so far and how has it help the Raptors

Andrea Bargnani they are still waiting for him to develop.

You want me to get excited about a foreign player that can shoot??:lol:

Did ya just start watching the NBA there isn't nothing new about that. Hell do I really need to list all the foreign players people hope were going to be the next Dirk?

This is the NBA not Europe League. Anyone will tell you. If you can draft a solid big man that score rebound defend block and has post moves or a foreign player that can shoot with back problems who do you think is going to have the better career???

Hey Marcus Camby was drafted the same year as Peja. Who is still effective in the NBA:lol::lol:

Dan is praying to god he has the career Peja had.

Anybody with any sense knows that this picture is a fucking fraud.
Prokhorov-Jay-Z2.JPG

Jay-Z "owns" 1.47% of this bullshit team. He will not be making any decisions, signing any checks, he'll only be a bitch ass cheerleader for those mother fuckers. I'm surprised that he would let himself be used as a token coon ass lawn jockey by that CAC Russian.

By the way....Dr. J is remembered for playing in New York more than as being remembered as a fucking Net.

okay so u saying jennings is better than harris? cause the nets have lopez and harris, why is lebron still debating where to go if the decision was so easy??

HELL THE FUCK YEA I"M SAYING JENNINGS IS BETTER THAN HARRIS!!!!!!

No fan boy over here. Only reason I wanted the number 1 pick so we could trade his ass but with Avery back he will put the clamps back on his game and has already told Harris Brook is the focal point.

Please if the Knicks had Brook Lopez and Brandon Jennings plus cap space to sign two max free agents.

shitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

that is a no brainier. Lopez and Jennings are future all stars and in their rookie season were able to compete with the league best at the position.

:lol::lol: still going for the past huh?

go ahead list the Knicks past achievements as for Jay he is about to get a bigger role with the team.

The Russian owns 80 percent of the team and 45 percent of the new arena. Jay knows something is about to happen is going to be apart of it.

As for that fraud picture.

Dolan didn't think it was so fraud when he called the NBA front offices crying about saying.

"it is intimidating our employees."

funny for a team that isn't worry about the Nets

Gallo is not a bitch ass like peja or dirk. He didnt back down from melo, lebron,
he even gave wade a fat lip..at the age of 21. this cat is competitive and more than just a shooter. no.2 in 3's made and in his first FULL season. He played 81 games so
throw that back thing out the window.

dawg all u still saying is dude just shoot threes that's it.

okay lets do this lets compare him to another small forward.

how many rookie of the months this kid has? Can he shut a player down? Can he rebound with the best of them.

Do I need to list what GM's feel and felt about him being pick at where he was.

That the pick wasn't based on talent but the system of Mike D offense????

What the fuck? Is it me or do you usually draft the best talent available. I guess if your not the Knicks.

http://hoopshype.com/players/danilo_gallinari.htm
Great shooter... Takes his shot off easily... Pretty strong... More then decent rebounder.

now lets see about the Nets small forward

Quite an athlete... Point forward skills... Great rebounder for his size... Can be a very good defender in the NBA... Needs to refine his offensive game.

So wait in Terrence first season in the NBA he not only prove he could score points but also rebound and dish the ball. When he play point guard for the Nets during the month of April dude average a triple double for a whole week?

now you want me to get excited about a foreign player who can shoot threes.:lol:

As I said this is the NBA I seen that before.

Now before you call Peja a bitch due know he has made all star games and all nba team.

What award has Dan won so far after two years in the nba? rookie of the month? Player of the week?

This is the NBA most them dudes are athlethic as shit to begin wit,
so being athletic is the norm. Shooters are more rare than athletic types.
It took peja 8 YEARS to be an all star, and he was playin with c-webb, bibby, divac etc.

At least we got a past.

If New Jersey is going to be so great..why is Thorn jumping ship?

Jay Z about to get a bigger role with the Nets?
Show and prove homie.

Oh...he's going make decisions on what color limo that Russian should ride through Brooklyn?

The Nets are nothing but a flea trying to ride the Knicks nuts.

Thorn had been let it be known that this could be his last season with the Nets that was before the sale even went through.

:lol::lol:

Now if Thorn was jumping ship because of problems with the Nets you people do realize his contract end July 1st. He said himself on NBA TV. If I had a problem with Mikhal or anyone why would I still be here and helping the Nets recruit players and looking for a replacement.

http://www.nba.com/video/channels/nba_tv/2010/07/01/20100701_njn_thorn_intv.nba/

Nice try though:lol::lol:

This might be a surprise to you knicks fans but someone can quit his job and everything is okay in the front office.

No Larry brown or Isaiah Thomas bullshit over here.:lol:

Show and prove about Jay-Z bigger role with the Nets?

http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/186370-will-jay-z-be-the-one-to-land-lebron

Mikhal met with Jay-Z before he took over and told him what was going to be expected and what will happen when he comes to the team. That he isn't Ratner and things are going to change.

How long did Bruce Ratner let those lawsuits drag and push the Brooklyn arena back???? Years

The Russian comes in and two weeks later buys out everyone who refuse to leave for 30 percent more than the value.:lol::lol:

Shittttttttttttttttttttt

trying to ride the Knicks. If the Knicks were a dog somebody should took ya ass to vet a long time ago. Because ya haven't been shit since 1999. dayum 10 years???

Wait ya did make it to playoffs but was swept by a team. I forgot who?

Who swept the Knicks when they finally made it back to playoffs.

Dayum I forgot can someone remind me.

how many atheletic players you know have the court vision of a 1.

That can fight for rebounds and actually win.

Plus is a damn good defender his first season in the league.

I'll wait.

He so athlethic that he had 10 blocks the WHOLE season (78 games) hahahh
and 43 steals what a joke. dude can't shoot a lick but u prob knew that.
we talkin bout basketball where u put the ball in the hole, this aint a high jump contest.

Edit: gallo- 75 stls, 58 blks for a non-athletic white guy.

People are underestimating Thorn's departure.

Rod Thorn literally turned water into wine and made the Nets a contender.

Meanwhile the Knicks still got the back page and was the NBA's most profitable franchise throughout the 2000's.

Jay is no basketball genius.

And LeBron is a fool if he leaves because of his 'friendship' with Jay.

James Gandolfini, star of the cable television series "The Sopranos," appeared in a short film shown to LeBron James at the start of the Knicks' presentation to the free-agent superstar this past Thursday.

Perhaps for the last time, Gandolfini and Edie Falco reprised their roles as Mr. and Mrs. Tony Soprano.

The plot was written so that Tony Soprano hadn't been killed off in the final episode after all. He was wearing a beard and living with his wife in the witness protection program. Tony told Carmela he had an important friend coming to town who needed a place to stay. The friend's name was LeBron James.

Carmela found the perfect location for a man of James' stature in midtown Manhattan, at a location known as Madison Square Garden.

The look on James' face indicated that he was immersed in the show. The Knicks knew that James was a fan of the hit HBO series.

........

But the Knicks weren't kidding around. They did their homework. Yeah, they knew LeBron loved The Sopranos. They also knew LeBron loved talking about the transition game more.

So Mike D'Antoni spent more than half this meeting on the eighth floor of a Cleveland building talking basketball with a basketball player. Suddenly a high-stakes summit with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line was reduced to a two-man huddle you'd find in shoebox gyms all across America.

A coach was drawing up X's and O's for a ballplayer, the two of them engaged in a Rockwellian scene that no max-out talks could taint.

The Knicks had their two hours and change in LeBron's presence, with Allan Houston staying behind for a few minutes to get the final word, athlete to athlete, man to man. James proved to be as gifted a poker player as he is a small forward. He didn't reveal much to either the Knicks or the Nets that day, and he also planned to cover his cards for the Heat, Clippers, Cavaliers and Bulls.

The Nets all but did an end zone dance when their sitdown was done, while the Knicks simply handed the ball to the ref.

yeah the knicks were unprofessional and unprepared, shoulda acted like the nets and celebrated a 90 minute presentation even tho the knicks talked to lebron for a few hours...dang Lebron was bored too... read that? Mike D had a full convo with himself...Lebron was sooooo bored...lol

Yo I'm still waiting for those Brian stories.

You know the dude you quoted to help prove your point but when he said Lebron was more interested in the Nets than the Knicks you said he was an unreliable source. Still waiting :hmm::lol::lol:

wow should I place how Kiki benched him for nearly the whole season after some bullshit of calling Yi out in the papers??

lets do this. Let's compare Terrence starting numbers. You the numbers he put while starting against Dan. Hell any knick

Did he ever think that these last few weeks were possible when he was running the steps at Chicago’s United Center on Dec. 8 as punishment for sleeping through the bus for shootaround?

“At that point, what was going through my mind was, ‘Don’t fall,’ ” the Nets rookie wing said, reaching more for humor than metaphor. “But I saw with the NBA, especially with the regular season, it’s up and down. If you continue to play and keep your head up — and I definitely did – it all works out fine.”

Now look at his résumé:

* A triple-double against Chicago.
* A career-high 14 assists against New Orleans.
* A 10-game stretch in which he averaged 16.1 points (.453 shooting), 6.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
* And, in an appropriate sendoff, the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month award, which he received from the NBA Thursday.

Williams won’t make the All-Rookie teams, if exit polls taken from voters around the country are accurate. But he was one of the top newcomers in the league since March began, finding his niche as a point-forward and leading the Nets to one of their most gratifying stretches of a dismal season (12-70) that ended Wednesday in Miami.

“In the last month Terrence has shown some real good things for the future. For someone who didn’t distinguish himself over the first three-quarters, it’s impressive,” team president Rod Thorn said.

“And the good thing is, he’s just scratching the surface of his potential.”

Or, as Charlotte coach Larry Brown put it in a hyperbolic moment Monday night, “The Nets can beat anybody now that Terrence Williams is playing like he is playing.”
“Now it’s like I see through two different eyes. I have the same eyes, but the game moves at a slower pace. I kind of dictate what goes on when the ball’s in my hand, instead of sitting in the corner and shooting the ball — that’s not really my game.”

His future, clearly, is as a playmaker because of his advanced court vision. He may not be a point guard, but he is an all-around weapon that can run an offense. But oddly, his future may be as a reserve, so that he can be plugged into one of three positions. That’s a decision for the next coach.

“What he needs to do now is, number one, improve his shot,” Thorn said. “He is going to work hard on it this summer: Be a good open jump shooter, because he gets all kinds of open shots.

“And Terrence should be a top-flight defensive player with his athletic ability, his toughness, and his lateral movement. He needs to improve in that area as he goes along. If he improves those two things, there’s no ceiling. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, it doesn’t matter — he’ll play significant minutes, and he’ll be an important player on a very good team.”

oh his mentor??? Gary "the glove" Payton
