The bolded is where I would offer that we should, at some point, start to view ourselves OUTSIDE of that framework. We cannot grow to our highest potential while viewing ourselves through their lens of WS.
I, in no way, purport that we are inadequate in our not wanting to do these things, I just think so many of us are comfortable and don't see it as a necessity or even useful. We need to look no further than this thread to find some of us that see prepping, gardening, etc. as extreme or silly.
