He espousing a separatist viewpoint but not in a practical way. Not everyone lives somewhere where that they can hunt, fish, grow food and live off the grid.
The aesthetics are correct but like much of his political commentary, it's incomplete and lacks substance.

The idea is aesthetically sound, sure... Hunt, fish, grow food, be a capable human being. Absolutely. But the vacuous commentary obfuscates some important historical facts. Ultimately, it reinforces white supremacist ideology because there's no interrogation about how we got here to the present day situation. I understand why brothers like this preach like they do, I don't even doubt that they may mean well, but their ignorance does all of us a disservice imo.

Also, it doesn't take much space to have a garden, people have balcony/patio gardens in an apartment.

When did you plant a row of crops, even just peppers or tomatoes?
Fruit trees?
Start seeds indoors?
Sharpened a blade with a whet stone?

Thw longer any & all of us go without honing these skills, the longer we prolong our current conditions.

My garden is 5k sq.ft (100'x50'), I can feed 4-5 families, especially the more I learn about soil health, companion planting, and drip irrigation.
My brother just has a bunch of raised beds much smaller than mine, feeds his family of 5. They went full vegetarian for a period of time.
Go outside & touch grass.

Living in an apartment doesnt preclude someone from having a container garden on their balcony/patio. It would still put a dent in their grocery bill and give them control over what they consume.
You're basically saying that you're comfortable with the current status quo and you'd rather keep it as it is than challenge it because challenging it is impractical.
It starts small, but resistance is not something that builds overnight. The less you do for yourself, the less you're able to do.

You don't have to live off grid to hunt. Get in your vehicle and drive to public lands (in every state) and hunt, fish local ponds, streams, & rivers. If you fish farm ponds (with permission from owner), you think the Fish & Game warden coming to ask for your fishing license on private property?
