What I like most about him is that he did not fall in love with his jumper. The guy gets to the line on top of having a sick J.

That shows a basketball maturity that is rare for his age.

Im still trying to figure out why guys like Allen, Carter or Lewis go to the three point line on fast breaks. Lay-ups are easier.

Once Durant adds some muscle its over for the L.

I like Durant but he is becoming overrated. No way is he better than Melo, CP3, Kobe, or Wade. He still has holes in his game. Not a good passer, not a good defender, not a great ball handler. Also he has zero post game. Durant reminds me of a 6'10 George Gervin. Smooth game and scores with ease. If he puts on some weight then he will have a chance at the best player in the NBA crown.

Why? Durant is going to be a mega star, kid seems reserved and layed back so he does not need a big market, hence why he went to Texas and not a Duke, Carolina, etc. Westbrook is in second year and is legit, Harden is going to be that nice role/glue player, Jeff Green over achieves regularly, and these dudes are all babies. They are some experience and a shot blocking defender away from being legit.

Everyone has holes in their game but at 21 this guy is better than any player at that stage in his career than i have seen in sometime (possibly ever). And to say he isnt a good passer or defender is just false. And to say he has "zero post game" is an even bigger lie my man.

He actually does. I remember seeing him in the mcdonald game and thinking something similar to that. He looks like he was built to play ball. I used to think he arms looked a little short on his frame too until i saw his wingspan measurements. He's just a fucking freak.

the last thing you want to do is add more weight to his frame.

keep him lean, put his conditioning up, but don't add more pounds to the frame.

it would change his game and make him more susceptible to stress injuries.

John Wall's season is not on their level. At all. It may be because he plays with more talent and higher stakes, but the numbers and impact just dont compare.
 
I hope the Thunder will be able to re-sign him because he will be targeted by a lot of teams.

Durant is a basketball player he will adjust his game to the added muscle with ease.

And the dude is years upon years of weight lifting away from getting those stress injuries.

Jeff Green...another underrated player who does get his on the rare occasions when Durant has an off night...

Not saying Green is the shit like Durant, just underrated...Westbrook is nice, too...

I personally thought Beasley was the most impressive out of the 3... BG stayed very close to the rim... Durant was a monster forreal, but Beasley looked more dominant on the boards an he would bang in the paint an shoot 3's an faced a constant double team an box an 1's... Durant had shooters on the floor with him so he didn't face the same kind of defenses M Easy did, but he got his fair share of Double too
