i'm all for his building his strength, but adding pounds to the frame is NEVER a good idea for long body types.
you're the same kind of person who wanted brad sellers to bulk up. who wanted toni kukoc to bulk up. who wanted kevin garnett to bulk up. long lean players are able to move the way they do because they're not carrying the added weight on their frames.
look what happened to robert horry after he started carrying around an extra 20 pounds.

FYI drafting a big man that doesn't pan out will never get a GM fired quicker than drafting a forward or a guard that doesn't pan out, because even a shitty big man can be effective just by being an obstruction on the defensive end of the court.

Dude Granger scores 23 a night on a bad team, shoots 42%, 6 boards, and 3 assists a game, turns the ball over 2 and a half times a game... Deng goes for 18, 7, 2 shoots 46% and turns it over less than twice a game on a team thats winning all the while playing second fiddle to D Rose... Like I said theyre about the same, neither is great.
