She does have people backing her. People who knew Brett and her from school said they believe her. There just isn't any first-hand evidence. This isn't a criminal case.
You clearly haven't dealt with alot of Sexual assault victims. Sadly shit doesn't work like that. Some focus on specific frames of reference to disassociate themselves from what is going on. Like they will focus on a smell, the feel of clothing.. a particular sound. Some victims might not remember the face of the assailant because they didn't want the person to appear as human.
When i was a PD my last two years were on the Sexual Assault/Child Rape docket... I've seen everything.
I'm not saying he did... but I'm not also saying that he didn't do it.
That's why I need more facts.
Also people need to get off the fact that it's been such a long time between revealing the incident and the timeliness of the incident.
When I left the PD's office... I had to defend a 60 year old man against a Child rape case because his 29 year old daughter.. revealed during a therapy session that her dad use to Marry her 3 times a week before god. She said she was always afraid to tell someone.
I get it that women lie.... I get it that men lie.
But when it comes to these things... You have to look at them neutral.
And what I do know is that even though there are significant issues with Ford's story..... Brett's deflection on questions and questionable entries in his yearbook.... lead me to believe that he hiding something.
Like if you were a drunk... and you were a drunk around people... SAY YOU WERE A FUCKING DRUNK!!!... Don't try to make people believe that you are some kind of choir boy when you weren't.
If you believed that you were a Choir boy and that you never were belligerent.. but other people say that you were... then that raises serious concerns on your ability to recall...
Were you so drunk that in moments of blacking out.. You had no idea what you did or didn't do.. Which could lead to the question... Would you even have remembered if you sexually assaulted her?

He lied (by omission) when asked if he was "bart" from Mark Judge's book. and he said that FFFFFF thing in his yearbook was about studdering. This dude is a pathological liar. He shouldn't be any type of judge.

this why your logic is poor, alcohol influences everything in both of their stories.
Consider -were you drinking alcohol or under influence at the time of your shooting attempt?
Also consider while you were being shot at I'm guessing you had an adrenaline dump, and if you were sober the memory will still feel crystal clear to you while not being necessarily accurate - that why eyewitnesses usually get slaughtered in cross examination w/o corroborative evidence or testimony from other witnesses
Ok - Lets look at it further:
do you remember what you did once you got home? did you place any phone calls - if yes who did you call?
Did you eat? if yes, what? do you remember how long it was before you fell asleep?
As for Dr Ford - again you are ignoring the presence of alcohol in this event and once she removed herself from the immediate threat and left the party, why did you assume she would have still felt under active threat?

I never dealt with them like you have as a lawyer. These women come out after trusting me. Talked about it for years on here(other BGOL members have shared the same experiences). It's not like a probe around for sexual assault victims. In some cases, I was shocked as shit. And of all the stories relayed to me, never seen the on/off baby talk. I'm talking women who lost their virginity behind sexual assault, not just groped for a few seconds. I'm well aware that they can focus on specific things. One chick swore she could smell colt 45 just because that's what her abuser drank. She didn't drink period because of that shit.
I'm just comparing how Ford acted to my experience with women who have been actually raped and/or molested. Because I seen it stated online she talked like that because women go back to the age of their abuse. From personal experience, I haven't seen that. However, I have seen white women pull this baby talk shit without sexual assault being on the table. We got videos of these white women calling police on people and then turning into victim babies right before our fucking eyes. It's on/off on cue. Ford went on/off.
I agree. Brett fucked up on that choir boy shit. Just dumb. I think he overcompensated, so he comes across as a liar. Fuck him. If he doesn't get confirmed and hangs himself over it, no fucks to give by me.
Yeah, it was stupid for him to do that 'virgin' interview on Fox. Had he just said he partied and drank, he'd been past this. He could have just said he partied with her 5 times and changed the entire narrative. But he had to go choir boy.
Just a bad look because we know he's full of shit with the choir boy narrative. It's clear he panicked and got terrible advice on how to approach this.

Was drinking banana red md 20/20. Wasn't smoking anything. When I got to Lee rd, happened to run into my boys from JFK and got a ride home. When I got home, called my one partner. Didn't know if anyone had been hit. No one had a cell phone back then. Was too damn shook to eat right away because didn't know the outcome for others.
As for Ford, she said she feared they might follow her to the street. Again, don't ignore that one out of two girls abruptly leaving in front of the others(she stated that) would get attention. She's portraying herself as being so shook over this yet no one noticed when she fled in front of them. What did she do? Create a distraction?
