And this is why I hate the GOP. They will hem and haw about how tough a decision something is or how they don't approve of it, and then they will vote right on that party line like everyone else.
I still don't get why this wasn't brought up once. I guess the Dems were on some "higher ground" BS, but this is a legitimate counter to everything that Graham was saying. After pulling the crap they pulled with Garland, no one in that room has any right to call anyone anything on stall tactics. To hear him speak, you'd think that he legitimately forgot about it.Graham ranted "you want to hold this seat open and hope you win the Senate and block this nomination". Not one Democrat yelled back at him, "you and your Party held Kennedy's vacant seat open for a year in hopes Trump would win the Presidency and block Merrick Garland's nomination". What could Miss Graham say in response? Nothing. Because it's absolutely true. Democrats could have, and should have, called him on his hypocrisy but instead sat silently cowed and let him go unchallenged. If the Dems had a spokesman with the guts of say an Anthony Weiner without the personal baggage, the Party would not seem like such a collective pushover.

Great breakdown. The double standard of relying on us to trust his private personal calendar vs being dismissive of his public high school yearbook is classic GOP bullshit.
His testimony yesterday is going to have people coming out with the real story.
And it has been like that since their "beginning" in time.

Logic doesn’t exist as it pertains to (white) people and their decision making.

In her eyes, it’s another day in America.
It’s just now of days, with the increased media, we get to see it from a wide range of perspectives. To many folks, especially the new generations that never seen the cut throat of politics, this is shocking.
But the plus side, all great atrocities were met with revolutions. This admin can only awaken those that slept and thought life could remain stable without being involved (voting).
It will take time to fix what has been done, but the roller coaster of this country is nothing new. Yes, the spiral down hill is steep, but what’s been created is generation of people becoming aware. The last leg of the white man, is the loss of its’ white women. Unfortunately, white women have been conditioned very well to hesitate going against the white man even at the cost of their well-being.
Suffer and recover. Dwelling only prolongs the healing.

It's just like the Health Care vote. It comes down to Collins and Murkowski. There is no way it will be 2 or 3 short. If it's short, it will be 1 short of the 50 they need..because Pence is the tie-breaker.
I think the ONLY chance is that both Collins and Murkowski have both decided to vote as a bloc.
