So, after looking carefully at the self hating comments in this thread, I sent Senator Harris $500 today and plan to meet her at a local fundraiser next month. I do not expect a direct quid pro quo. Just to see her continue to represent my (mostly) views on the national stage.

When Joe Biden is sworn in, he will be 78. 78!! Whoever is the VP will need to be able to prove to the voters that they can run the country. Nobody believes that Joe will be around for a second term. But, in 2-4 years, he can hopefully get some good soldiers in place to right the wrongs that have been done in the age of Trump. And Kamala will be just turning 60 and still fine.
