Justice League MOVIE Discussion (The SynderCut Drops 3/18/2021)

I read this and it continues to show that they don't know what they are doing..

Why replace Cavil he has been one of the few actors where the majority of the fans say he should be Superman and our upset that the dude..... hasnt really gotten a chance to really shine as Superman

So now they want to try and connect the worlds....
So now they want to connect shit :smh: To little to late Ann Sarnoff has already fucked up and lost billions of the WBs money ain’t no fixing it now

I was just thinking about this the other day. How would they introduce and portray Bizarro. What you mention makes sense.
Yes because I'm a fucking fan and I grew up on DC Comics. I started reading them in the early 70's and spent my hustle money on golden age Superboy and the Legion Adventure comics.

I'm just not a fan of half truths or inaccurate statements. Marvel had a run of good movies with a few duds sprinkled in between.

DC is not Marvel. Why are people expecting this?? Why can't there just be movies? Joker, Shazam, WW, Aquaman, Man of Steel, and the JL Snyder Cut are all solid films. Black Adam and The Suicide Squad will both be hits.

Most Marvel fans on BGOL were shitting on the Snyder cut before it was released. Why?? Just because they are Marvel fans. Same thing happen with Joker.

Lol you are the only here making shit up.

We are fully aware that not every movie will be a homerun.

Im not saying DC has to do everything like Marvel, but damn if you gonna commit to something, commit for real. They half-stepped the whole way with the DCEU.

What else could you expect BUT failure?

Dont get mad because we as fans see all this wasted potential and call them out for it.

New 52 was crazy.

After Crisis they get John Byrne to recreate superman and power him down to be more relatable. But DC can't help themselves and they went back to cuzz crushing black holes and shit.

So I guess the new 52 was a soft reboot?

I'm saying the DCEU needs better continuity and pacing. 3rd movie in and you are already at the Flashpoint, Darkseid stage? Why have we never seen a good Brainiac on the screen besides the Krypton series that was killed off? They would have been better off making Zod into Bizarro without the stupid talking and costume than that shitty Doomsday.

Even though Aquaman was silly, they kept his villains around and had some character development. I want to see what happens to him and his people. Shazam couldn't even pay Superman to show his fucking face in the movie. It's that kind of lame shit that has me heated.

I was thinking the whole time Superman had that damn black suit on that someone would say that he looked .... bizzare. Maybe with a tongue in check line delivery. Something fun just for the fans.

And this why it is so frustrating to have real discussions with Marvel fans who are half knowledgeable about the MCU.

Iron Man came first, a few months later, The Incredible Hulk. And yes, The Incredible Hulk was produced by Kevin Feige as well.

They can't all be home runs.
You said hulk was first. That's what I meant by "no'.

The Hulk movie was the first MCU movie. It was just so bad that went back to the drawing board.

The technically fixed their whole continuity problem with the introduction of Infinite Crisis on the CW.

I am a fan of both companies. Both companies have had highs and lows. Marvel enjoyed a great run with the Infinity Stones Saga.
Iron man was the first then came incredible hulk but those movies were under paramount pictures until marvel created their studios in 2009 and bought the rights to them. You arent referring to the 2003 and lee hulk are you?

I could kinda vlget with that except bizarro is not a zombie. They should have done the death of Superman and gone with soke tbing else.

It didn't hit me until rewatching it but NO ONE brought up the fact that the last time someone use the ship to bring a dead Kryptonian back to life it created Doomsday. Granted it had Lex's blood, but did they know that? Shouldn't that had been at least a concern during the resurrection?

I ain't rewatching BvS for any reason, so can someone let me know if they knew about the blood. :lol2:

My one gripe with the Snyder verse superman is he doesnt have the trademark curl bang in the middle of his fore head. They shouldve had showed parts of his childhood in the man of steel movie of him on the playground during his childhood at the playground playing the monkeybars in little red shorts. Then at the community swimming pool diving in the water and when he came up out the water the curl would be on his fore head because some say he had indian in his family. When he dived in the pool to save lois lane in bvs when he came out the water the curl was on his forhead and the water was glistening ..... All over his boddddyyyyyy.

Lmaooooooooo. You liked his body glistening huh?

In 2007, Warner Bros & director George Miller tried to bring a Justice League movie to the big screen and despite everything going right for this movie, things seemed to fall apart at the 11th hour, leading the movie to be cancelled.

So I’m watching this again.. after rewatching the other justice league and I have say...

I really fucking like this movie...

It’s the fastest 4 hour movie that I’ve seen in my life...

It his first has this sense of movement from the first scene to the last one..

My only really complaint besides the muted colors... is that this ratio has to be fucking fixed.

Lex didnt use a motherbox though he knew what he was doing because he learned from the ship he wasn't just trying to resurrect zod he purposefully created doomsday

Common was a poor choice for John Stewart they should've looked for an unknown. Its just the same ad when dome fans suggested idris elba for that role. To fill that rooe you need the right actor for it you just can't give him the role simply because hes bkack.

You don't realize how bad the coloring is until you see these side by side scenes people are posting on YouTube.

Zack Snyder must be colorblind and mad everyone else can see color.

Zack Snyder Threatened to Quit Snyder Cut After Studio Pulled New Green Lantern Scene

It turns out “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” is not the definitive version of “Justice League” after all. If that was the case, then the final scene of the four-hour comic book epic would’ve featured the Green Lantern John Stewart and not the Martian Manhunter. As Snyder recently told Esquire magazine, “The last scene with Martian Manhunter, originally, I had shot it in England. And the dialogue was very similar, but it was supposed to be one of the Lanterns.”

“And then the studio had told me I wasn’t allowed to shoot anything,” Snyder continued. “That there would be no film made of any kind. During production, that was a thing they insisted on. And I shot stuff anyway, of course, in my yard. And one of the things I shot was the Green Lantern scene.”

Snyder told the ReelBlend podcast this week he filmed the new Green Lantern scene in his driveway last year during the pandemic with “an amazing actor” playing John Stewart. Snyder did not reveal the actor’s name. John Stewart is notable for being the first African-American superhero to appear in DC Comics, making his Green Lantern debut in December 1971.

“And then they asked me, when they saw the movie and saw that I put it in there, they’d take it out,” Snyder told Esquire about the studio. “And I said that I would quit if they tried to take it out. And I felt bad. The truth is I didn’t want the fans to not have a movie, just based on that one stand that I was going to take.”

Snyder concluded, “The Green Lantern was John Stewart. And that was part of it too. I was like, I don’t want to take a person of color out of this movie. I’m not going to do it. But I felt like having Harry Lennix’s Martian Manhunter at the end was, that was okay.”

Martian Manhunter appears at the end of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” in a scene where he meets Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne outside the latter’s lake house. Martian Manhunter tells Bruce he’s going to join the Justice League in the fight against Darkseid.

“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” is now streaming on HBO Max.
