Just survived a shootout. UPDATE: Just lost my "nephew"

Xavier..is a dam good school...brah...if she been in New Orleans for Four years.... she has seen some shit..brah
When I went to X.U in the early 90's Xavier had the baddest broads in the nation. I had a patna who played ball in Jackson him and his boys used to come down to the N.O on the weekends and all of us would go to a club in the east called Whispers. Those were some good times.

Yeah, ain't nothing fools like better than when the event is covered but folks thrown to the wolves outside. Entire plots to fuck people up develop over that kind of security setup. :smh: Don't mean gunfire will erupt, but a fight is going to at least happen.

That ain't gun culture, that's hood culture. Simple as that. Guns just make the violence easier and end up with innocent people dead.

Sadly, I said many times on here how I was in the suburb and it got to us out there. You do quickly become indifferent to it(like you mentioned about her). It is what it is. You either get stepped on, do the fucking stepping, or become cool with those doing the stepping while laying low(male perspective, girls usually don't worry about shit and ain't running around blazing cats).

Schools become irrelevant. Who do SOME of the students hang around after? If they aren't geographically far away from the nonsense, the nonsense will likely find a way in. Because Urkel might be Odog's cousin.

One lesson that is quickly learned is everyone seems to have a cousin or someone they can call that will be willing to take it there. So 2 students can have a beef, 99 percent of the time the shooter is someone one of the students bring into the mix. :smh:

Hate that it's like this. Story after fucking story man. Hope you and yours stay safe.
Man, thats the opening monologue Gene.

Let's quit the bullshit and call it what it is.. NIGGAS BEING NIGGAS DOING NIGGA SHIT!! We quick to talk about packing heat and pulling out the tool and blasting the next fool but when that shit goes down in real life, we wanna get perspective. GTFOH with that bullshit. the hood always been a rough place, not because of the goddamn white man but because niggas being niggas gonna do nigga shit and nobody is gonna say shit after the fact. Think about it. Who the fuck you got beef with at a damn graduation? The very definition of graduation is a cause for celebration but niggas gonna pack a gun and go to other places, unrealistically hoping not to run into another nigga but willing to blast everyone on sight if they do.

This was an argument between two bitches.

The hood ain't always been bad. My great grandparents lived in that area in the 40's through the 60's. Negroes used to have some respect for people going back to the Wire (the Sunday rule) and then people would only carry certain times of the week hence the term saturday night special. Back in the 60's and 70s brothers would carry switchblades. I can remember a brother got killed across the street from my house back in the 70s with a switchblade. But I can agree with you to pull out a gun at a damn graduation is some nigga shit. Back in the day if you had beef niggas would fight if you get your ass beat, you get ass beat....you get him next. Niggas started carrying because they were too bitchmade to take an ass whipping

Can't believe how many shootings have occurred since this...

It hasn't even been a week. It happened on Tuesday!

Almost feels like threads should be combined it's so many.

I have some pictures of right before the fight. I was getting ceeepshots lol...not really but kinda. Just was trying to get pics of all the creole milfs lol. No pictures of the crime scene. Even in the moment I knew it wasn't appropriate. Might post the milfs later tho lol
Nigga deserves hazardous pay for the hard work fellas… glad you ok bro

Suspects arrested/turned themselves in...40 year old mother saw her daughter graduate and minutes later...manslaughter.

(CNN)Four people were arrested and charged in connection to last month's shooting that claimed the life of an 80-year-old woman at a high school graduation ceremony in New Orleans, police said Wednesday.

Augustine Greenwood was killed on May 31 at Xavier University of Louisiana, which was hosting the ceremony for students at nearby Morris Jeff Community School, the city's coroner office told CNN.

Brandon Rock, 18, and Laverne Duplessis, 40, were charged with manslaughter and possession of a firearm in a gun-free zone, the New Orleans Police Department said in a news release. Duplessis also faces an obstruction of justice charge.

Additionally, Frank Bartholomew, 49, was charged with obstruction of justice, and a 15-year-old is accused of possessing a firearm in a gun-free zone, police said.

Greenwood had just watched one of her grandchildren graduate before gunfire struck her, CNN affiliate WVUE reported.

"There was a fight that broke out between apparently two females," said NOPD Chief Deputy Superintendent Christopher Goodly at the time of the shooting. "Subsequent to this fight, subjects produced weapons, and shots were shot."

If you’re around a crowd of niggas and see 3-8 in sagging skinny jeans designer belts and dirty dreds. Blicks about to be pulled at some point .

You can't legislate the heart, as my Political Science professor said.

All the laws in the world can't stop someone if they want to do something.

Nobody's thinking about the death penalty when they are in the moment...it's just not a deterrent.

I'm so glad something told me to grab my boy at the last moment or I really think he may have been gone. He went right to the fight to break it up. I was like F that lol. No honor in your bravery if you're gone. You got a wife and kids...F these people if they want to fight at a graduation.

So glad your son is still here....we tend to have such little value on life now.

Well, my friend just lost his SON, presumably to gun violence. He's too shaken up to tell me what happened.

This is the brother of the girl graduate in this story.

These are the closest I have to kids so it hurts.

Saw it coming if he didn't change his ways.

And was BRILLIANT. At one point wanted to go to Emory University to study prosthetics.

Just got caught up in the times he was living in.

Sorry to hear man... My condolences.

It starts with ignorant black trash, normally they contain that shit amongst themselves, shooting and killing each other. Now they are crossing over to black professional class. They have developed new hustle scams with black professional teaming up with white supremacist so be on the look out.

Especially among athletes, entertainers, and politicians who are glorified hood n####.

I have tried everything to signal that their presence is not wanted, but of course with their limited intellectual capacity leading to a lack of self awareness they don't understand. I had a team of these pest show up at a gas station. I am closely monitoring but if they get out of line:

Most of us in the black professional class don't have that type of muscle or can't gang bang. If they mess with a street fool, he can shoot on them with a quickness with one of his soldiers. We are just easy targets and prey for them.

To see the loss and waste of potential is staggering.

We have lost generations of leaders, providers, males who could have grown into men, changed their ways and influenced others.

This kid was not a thug. He got caught up playing a role, and others weren't playing. He could have been anything he wanted.

Our loss of human capital is immense and has barely been quantified.

Damn man my deepest condolences to you and your family. It's terrible to lose talent far too early :crying:

Gonna be hard to sleep tonight.

Can't shake the feeling that I should have done more for him.

The path he was going down was obvious to everyone but him.

Like many of us at that age I think he listened to me more than his dad.

I wrote him when he was in juvenile for an extended period. Texted with him a little. Tried to be an uncle to him but...

I'm glad I at least told him he was brilliant and could still do anything he wanted once he got out of juvenile. They wiped his record clean. But he became institutionalized and his "friends" became more important than his family.
