Just Started Watching Spike Lee's She Hate Me

The whole whistleblower stuff as well as the mobster subplot was unneccessary. If it had been one story and one story only the movie would have been better. It definitely isn't one of Spike Lee's best films but it was better than I expected it to be.

I loved this film. I know a lot of people that don't and I understand their reasonings. Spike tried to attack too many topics in one film. Could've been 4 different films if needed. I think the mob part of the film was just to have a Spike player in the film in John Turturro and Monica Belucci. So I get the criticism of it I just don't have a problem with the fact it attacked so many topics. A lot of critcs focused on that when they were giving the film negative reviews(except for Roger Ebert who loved the film)but I mean who gives a fuck how many topics it attacked? It did it well. As if you can only attack 1 topic per film and shit.

Anyone up that part with Paula Jai Parker fuckin in the bathroom?
I just watched this movie last night by accident . Flipping through the channels, I came in at this point and had to search On Demand and watch it again. The movie was very entertaining and funny as hell (stop trying to make Spike some kind of intellectual genius. He makes movies to entertain you, and to get you thinking.) The whole premise is one that I have thought about often. I have a niece who hates men, but has two daughters, one by a short relationship with a white doctor and the other from a sperm bank. She's got money herself to give them anything they want, but she's still raising them without a real daddy. I hope somebody explores this theme again. Most lezzies I know adopt kids. Anyway, I digress from the tittays
