Re: Just Got Back from Seeing Django Unchained...
I'm saying in these kinds of stories theres always a white man who has to provide the way..I mean nat turner was born into slavery and lead a pretty effective revolt. Turner had "natural intelligence and quickness of apprehension, surpassed by few."[7] He learned to read and write at a young age.
Turner also had an influence over white people. In the case of Ethelred T. Brantley, Turner said that he was able to convince Brantley to "cease from his wickedness."
Turner started with a few trusted fellow slaves, but the insurgency ultimately numbered more than 70 enslaved and free blacks, some of whom were mounted on horseback.
None of that needed a white man as a facilitator. I'm just giving an example of how a fictional character can be done based on historical events. But carry on..
I'm talking about the progression of the protagonist within the universe the story is built. It would make no sense that the protagonist would go from a slave who doesn't know his left from his right to a tactical weapons expert within 30 minutes if the story was built around the progression and ultimate redemption of said character....
That being said I have no clue what the fuck you are talking about. Sounds like you bitching just to bitch.
*two cents*
