Just found out on Thursday that I have cancer.

I just want to say, is to keep your spirits up. Fighting cancer is mental as well as medical. Seek out emotional support stay positive, pray, meditate, keep good company and you can overcome. Don't wallow in self-pity and sorrow. Just stay optimistic brutha.
I would first of all like to thank all of my BGOL brothers for their well wishes. I know I will beat this illness. I will take in consideration of all of the advice that was posted in this thread. For those that didn't know, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. Not sure yet if it spread or how much is in my body. I just took the Pet Imaging Scan last Friday to find out. Thanks brothers!

Yo after reading up on Hodgkins Lymphoma, I can say you are VERY likely to beat this. I looked on a lot of different message boards, with people who have had it even in later stages (more common between the ages of 25 - 34 or over 55) and were able to beat it with some chemo therapy. Keep ya head up, homie.

My grandpa beat colon cancer at age 77.

i wish you the best bruh and hope everything works out for you and goes right! keep your faith and hold your head up! cancer is and has always been my biggest fear of all! i guess thats how it is when you're living the smoking and drinking life. after discovering my wife was pregnant i decided to quit smoking cause i wanted to be healthy or healthier for our child. even being smokefree for nearly a year i still have the fear of cancer! my body feels fine and i can breathe much better however i still can't help but wonder how much damage have i done to my body for no logical reason! nevertheless, i wish you a speedy recovery and all the blessings and luck in the world! be easy bruh!

keep your head up man my dad had it 2 years ago. its some scary shit but be a fighter and hope they give you the strong meds cause from what i heard the chemo hurts bad
